Alan kept patting her back, trying to make her feel better.



“Better?” He turned on the faucet and washed away the filth on the sink. His furrowing brows weren’t
because of the dirty sink, but he wasn’t sure whether his patting on her back eased her suffering.

“Much better.” Olive took a breath and took a handful of water under the faucet, then she rinsed her
mouth from the bitter taste.

Lory handed her a towel. “What a big reaction. Guess you’ll have to suffer in the future.”

Olive laughed indifferently, “I’m okay. No matter what, there are only less than eight months left.”

“You can still make a joke?” Alan really couldn’t handle her.

Even though Olive’s complexion didn’t look very good, she was still playful. “Then? Who ask your son
to be this naughty? Or, when he gets out of my stomach, you can beat his ass? Teach him a lesson
and warn him that he should be obedient next time and don’t upset his mother too much.”
