Chapter 101: Never Judge People by Their Appearance

"Some friends."Olive said faintly,would it surprise her if Olive told her that she had guested in this band
for a while?

But she didn't say it in the end.

She was not a person who liked to talk about personal matters.What's more, she talked with the
woman who was aimed at her everywhere,it was not good to talk too much.

Susie graduated in Art Major,she thought she was a half connoisseur, and she was picky. However, she
was driven by criticism to find fault, she had to admit that the band Olive invited was by no means
worse than the bands that often appeared in various concerts, even the first or second-tier bands were
not as good as this band.

The notes flowing out of their hands, as if with the appeal of life,which let a group of people and others
in the venue gather around them.

Especially the lead singer, whose voice was like the sounds of nature,it was pure and vacant and with a
cool breath.The guitar in his hands was played fluently, as if it had a soul.

Suddenly she became interested in this boy, maybe because she heard Olive say that he was their
friend.She was jealous and wanted to do something to destroy their relationship.

When the song ended,everyone present was impressed by their performance.

She wanted to say hello to that boy, but she was stopped by his aura that strangers were not allowed to
get close to him.She didn't want to be laughed at by Olive, so she angrily took back the words that she
was about to say and turned them into a prosaic word, "Well, that's OK."

Susie couldn't find any reason to dismiss them, she could only agree them to stay.She gave Olive the
rest of the work,she still seemed a little reluctant.



She had to change her clothes and make a hairstyle.The friends of Ophelia were rich or noble,she
would be a fool if she did not seize this rare opportunity to know more nobles.

Susie always knew what she wanted, so she was never confused.

As soon as she left, Olive felt as if the burden was gone. She turned to the band members and said,
"Don't mind the words of Assistant Maltz."

Summer was the guitarist and lead singer,he glanced coldly at the figure disappearing at the door, he
softened his eyes a little when he looked back.He smiled faintly,"That’s OK."

Several others,bassist Colbert,keyboard Edgar,drummer Greg,they all said they didn't care.

They were all kind children.

But Chloe asked her,"Who is that woman?Isn't she just an assistant?She's so proud,I think she just has
got peacock feathers on her buttock."

Four teenagers chuckled.

Olive said with laughing,"Don't care who she is.Anyway, she's a nuisance.By the way, when did you
officially join the band? You didn't even tell me."

"So what?You're so busy every day,I never had a chance to tell you, but it's not too late for you to know
now.I'm honored that the four beautiful teenagers thought highly of me who is a divorced woman, took
me in and gave me a small group to rely on."

Summer said,"Sister Chloe is very nice and sings very well, we've been looking for a female lead
singer, so we hit it off."



"Actually, these four guys wanted to pull you into the band at first, but your ambition was not here, so
they had to give up and let me be a substitute."Chloe said happily.

"Come on"Olive patted her on the shoulder,could she not know?Although these four teenagers were
young, they all were picky.It was not possible to join their small group without a unanimous vote.

"By the way, Sister Olive, the boss sponsored us to set up a studio to let us make our own music. If you
have any good suggestions, you need to give them to us."Edgar next to her said.

"Good, the more you play, the famous you are. You have to give me an autograph when you release an
album."Olive said happily,she felt that the people who could take interest as a career was very lucky.

They chatted for a while,Olive had to keep busy with the preparations for the party.And once people
were busy,they often forget the existence of time.

The party was scheduled for eight o'clock.She reexamined the process of the party again and made
sure nothing was wrong after getting everything done, she felt relieved slightly.Seeing that it was seven
o'clock, she arranged for the greeters to wait for the guests at the hotel entrance.Then she found
someone to give some food to Chloe and the teenagers who were resting in the background.Eating

Chloe rubbed her as she ate,"Well, don't you catch the good luck in adventures with men tonight?I
think that the guests coming tonight will be not too bad.If you like someone,don't hesitate,it's better to
take the initiative first."

Olive gave her a hard knock,"You should stop saying when you are eating!"

She would be lucky enough if she could spend the night tranquilly.



Suddenly, she thought of Alan again.Were he and Ophelia really as what Susie said?She shook her
head and tried to get him out of her mind.

Near eight o'clock, guests came in succession.

Susie wore a real silk dress,her chestnut hair was put up in a beautiful bun.She wore light makeup
without strong powder,she wore a white fox fur shawl on her bare arms to keep out the cold.At first
glance, she looked like a lotus flower fully opened, which was quite different from the usual style.

This woman had changed her style?Olive watched her exchange conventional greetings with the
guests from afar.

She was very good at communicating with people, she could correctly name everyone without any
mistakes,she also knew their identities and origins as clear as daylight.She had proper limits when she
talked and laughed.

Olive sighed in her heart,she was really a woman who was capable of dealing with all men.It was not
surprising that Alan would ask her to take charge of the matters of party.

Maybe, Olive had always positioned her as a beautiful person before, forgetting that she was also a
talented person.

Olive learnt one thing from Susie, it was that never judge people by their appearance and didn't
underestimate anyone you hated.

There was a proverb that never judge people by their appearance,there was profound learning in it.

She felt that she still needed to improve her ability in judging a person.

She saw Susie face the guests with a smile in front of her, she felt more and more that she was a
redundant person and was happy to be idle.She went to the background,asked Ted to check the



preparation of the main meal in the kitchen.Then she came to the lounge that Chloe and they rested in
to remind them to get ready to be in place.

The master of ceremonies was invited by Susie.After the opening, the band would be asked to perform
to kick off the party officially,then Susie would speak on stage.Some shows for fun followed,then it was
free and happy time.

Olive didn't want any of them to go wrong. But,the more she didn't want, the more problems there were.
