Timothy noticed her eyes were red, while the child's body was flushed.

Johanna kept gazing at Asel, afraid that her fever would come back. “You get some sleep,” he whispered. “I'll watch

over her. She'll be fine.”

With his fingers, he gently brushed the hair from Johanna's cheek behind her ear and could not help lowering his

head to kiss her gently on the cheek.
