Bruce had a similar suspicion, but hearing Cooper say that Genevieve might be in love with someone
else annoyed him to no end.

Bruce replied, “I never pretend to be someone else when I am with Genev, so the man she loves
should still be me.”

Bruce had Steven send some men to Saspiuburg and demanded that they locate the doctor.

He would not give up on any shred of hope.

“Locating the doctor is not the most important task at hand. Genevieve comes first,” said Cooper as he
looked at Genevieve in the ward. “You can stay away from her, but she already developed feelings for
you. We have to deal with that first.”

Genevieve woke up the following morning and saw Cooper staying by her side. He was working on his
phone at the time.

“I’m fine, Coop. You should go back to work,” informed Genevieve as she sat up.
