pinched his wrist and repeated, “I'm asking you if you've ever called them.”

“I couldn't reach them. Cooper's the only one who contacts Armand,” Timothy answered.

Relieved to learn that Cooper had been keeping in touch with Armand and Genevieve, Johanna did not
ask any other questions.



Cooper arrived at the mansion before half past six.

Never in his wildest dreams could he have thought that Zephyr was able to escape from the jaws of
death again.

a long time.

Cooper replied, “I heard that he built a good rapport with some Chanaean government officials to do
business here. He's a cunning person who's cheated death multiple times, so it will be difficult to find
his whereabouts.”

The look in Timothy's eyes turned vicious. “No matter what it takes, I'll find him,” he growled, hatred
evident in his tone.

He vowed to kill Zephyr with his own hands.
