After thirty minutes, they arrived at an outdoor ice-skating rink.

After getting the skates, Bruce casually squatted down beside Genevieve and helped her put them on.

depended on it.

“We’re in public, so you should not hug me like this, don’t you think so?” Bruce slyly remarked.

Genevieve looked up and shot him a stare.

With Bruce’s undivided attention as her trainer, Genevieve could pick up the techniques swiftly. In less
than ten minutes, she was able to skate freely.

Narrowing her eyes, she could feel the breeze brushing across her cheeks.

Realizing that Bruce was not paying attention to her, Genevieve furrowed her brows as a plan hatched
in her mind. She crept closer to Bruce’s back and wanted to catch him off guard.

However, before she could place her hands on his back, Bruce instinctively turned around and carried
her up. The next second, they were skating across the rink in a fluid and swift motion.

Shocked, Genevieve, with her eyes staring furiously at Bruce, clutched tightly at his shoulders,

“You noticed me much earlier but pretended not to. Did you do that on purpose?”

“What are you talking about?” Bruce was acting dumb, but he failed to conceal the checky smile on his
face.

In response, Genevieve rolled her eyes at him.



After a few hours, Genevieve got bored and asked Bruce to bring her to the nearest mall. Bruce then
got her a basket of coins for the machines at the arcade center.

Without restraint, Genevieve, like a kid, excitedly slotted the coins in the machines. But after a long
afternoon, she failed to get any doll from the claw machines.

“I want to call the police!” Genevieve frustratedly said, “I want to report that this arcade center is a
sham! How can they install such a loose claw?”
