Steven shoved him away and let go. “Get lost.”

Rebecca's heart lurched at the appearance of the unfamiliar man, and it lurched again when she saw
Steven. She knew promptly that it was not a coincidence, and she could not help but recall Genevieve
telling her, “Let's find out.”

When Rebecca placed both of her feet firmly on the ground again, the pain from her ankle made her
