Johanna brought Genevieve back to Swallow Garden. Like a ghost, Genevieve walked up the stairs
and into Amanda's room mindlessly.

on the coffee table before switching it on.

Genevieve was asleep for a long time. When she woke up, she stretched her arms and felt a dull ache
on her wrist as she moved.

Cooper had been working in the waiting room. Upon hearing movement, he quickly figured that
Genevieve had woken up and immediately head to the bedside. “Genev, how are you feeling? Are you
feeling any pain anywhere? Any discomfort? Do you want me to call the doctor?”



Genevieve shook her head in response and pushed herself up into a sitting position.

She accepted the cup of warm water from Cooper. After sipping on the water, she finally felt much
better. Feeling a little confused, she asked, “Why am I in the hospital?”

Cooper did not answer. He merely took out the food from the thermal lunch box and placed it on the
table silently.

“Where's Lucian and Mandy?” As Genevieve spoke, she caught sight of the bandage on her left wrist.
