Armand’s heart went numb again. He crushed the can of beer in his hand again and said hoarsely,

Genevieve. Why did you drag her into this?”“I have a lot of stuff to do back at the company. I’ll be going
now. Take good care of her for me,” Armand said, ignoring Timothy’s question.He stood up and left
