After returning to the mansion, Zephyr arranged for the housekeeper to attend to Johanna's bath in the
bedroom, as he had some work to do and went to the study.

He might have just come from Danontand and felt a bit tired. Rubbing his eyebrows, he lay down on
the table for a short nap.

In a vague glimpse, he saw a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman standing in the living room, scolding the

he tiptoed back carefully.

The bedroom was comfortably warm, perhaps because she was pregnant and afraid of the heat. She
didn't even cover herself with a blanket while sleeping. Lying flat on her pregnancy pillow, one hand
rested on her protruding belly, and the hem of her nightgown was rolled up by Lottie.

Zephyr pulled the thin blanket from the foot of the bed, and as he was about to cover Johanna, he
suddenly remembered that he hadn't seen the baby for a long time.

He lifted the hem of the woman's nightgown, revealing her swollen, snow-white belly. Then, he leaned
down and pressed his ear against Johanna's stomach, listening to the steady heartbeat of the unborn
