Johanna could not stop the tears from streaming down her cheeks. She gnawed at her lip to keep
herself from crying, saying, “I thought of you and Asel every day when I was away. You don't know how

me...”

“Don't think too much of it, Ms. Joule,” Loraine comforted her. “Maybe General Hospital made a
mistake or something. The only thing you have to do now is get plenty of rest.”

Johanna was ashen-faced and looked miserable as she caressed her baby bump.
