Chapter 112

I Won‘t Pester You

After learning the truth, the two boys said goodbye to Mary and went back to their own home.

Mary was disappointed with herself for giving up the truth so easily. Seeing the heartbroken little boys,
she hurriedly took a day off work and went to accompany them.

Lucian and Nox were filled with disappointment.

After getting along for some time, they thought that Daddy would not hate them so much.

However, Daddy still asked the kindergarten to expel them.

Nox sniffed and nodded quietly. Rosalie completed the withdrawal procedures for the two little guys
and just came out of kindergarten. At the same time, Byron came to send Estie to school. They both

The little girl‘s eyes lit up as soon as she saw Rosalie, her gaze looked as if she was expecting
something Rosalie‘s heart softened at the sight of Estie, but when she saw the man beside her, it



immediately sank again. The two quickly walked toward her. Estie held Rosalie‘s skirt and looked up at
her pitifully, eagerly waiting for her to say something

Rosalie was silent for a while, then she released her skirt from the little girl‘s hand. She took two steps
back to create a distance between them. “Lucian and Nox will not be here in the future, so you must…
take care of yourself and try to get along with other children.”

The light in the little girl‘s eyes slowly disappeared from what she said. Rosalie could not bear but look
away. She forced herself and said calmly, “I have to work I need to go now.”

She finished speaking and was about to walk past them. As she walked past the man, his big hands
grabbed her wrist. Rosalie stopped abruptly and turned back to meet the man‘s gaze with a blank face.
“Is there anything else, President Lawrence?”

Byron furrowed his brows. “You‘ve greatly misunderstood. I never intended to expel those two
children.”

Hearing this, Rosalie said sarcastically, “If you still wish to defend yourself, I don‘t mind listening to
what you have to say. Whose fault is it this time?”

Byron did not mind her tone and replied earnestly, “I got Luther to investigate this matter. It turns out
that Wendy made the decision without authorization. Due to my previous order, the principal mistakenly
thought I acquiesced…”

Speaking of this, Byron felt embarrassed.

Rosalie pulled back her hand fiercely and said coldly, “Don‘t worry, President Lawrence. I‘m not

After speaking, she left without looking back.

Byron‘s face sank as he watched her leave.

Estie was stunned for a few seconds as tears poured out of her eyes uncontrollably. She hurriedly
shook off Daddy‘s hand and ran behind Rosalie‘s car. She had a feeling that after the beautiful lady left
this time, she might never see her again. Thinking of this, Estie was very uneasy, and her eyes were
full of panic. In her panic and unstable steps, Estie stepped on a loose stone and fell to the ground.
