Rosalie reached out to pick up the little girl’s schoolbag, but Byron withdrew his hand with no
expression, turned, and walked in front of them. ” Let’s go.”

Rosalie’s hand fell empty as the little ones around her carefully tugged on her sleeves, she came back
to her senses and led the kids to follow behind the man.

Miss Leigh Ann was already waiting at the gate of the kindergarten.

Seeing them coming together, the teacher smiled and greeted Rosalie. “Miss Jacobs, it’s been a long
time.”

During this time, either Nanny Lisa or the children’s godmother, Mary, came to send the two little boys.
Rosalie has not been to the kindergarten for a while.

“Long time no see,” Rosalie responded with a smile. ” Lucian and Nox haven’t been causing any
trouble for you in the class, right?”

Miss Leigh Ann waved repeatedly. “Don’t you worry, they’re the most obedient children in the class.”
Hearing this, Rosalie felt relieved and handed the little boys over to the teacher.

“Estie darling, I need to go to work. You be good and have a fun day with Lucian and Nox, okay?”

The little one pursed her mouth, face full of unhappiness.

Seeing this, the two brothers hurriedly stepped forward and held the little girl’s hand. They comforted
her. “We’ll play with you, Estie. Don’t be sad.”

The little one stared at Rosalie reluctantly and wanted to ask if Rosalie could stay and not go abroad,
but she was afraid of hearing a negative answer. After hesitating for a long time, she did not dare to
ask.

The little one did not go in, and Rosalie could not bear to leave.

When she did not know what to do, the man behind her calmly walked between her and Estie,
separating the little girl’s line of sight.

“It’s about time to go to class. Daddy and Auntie have to go to work, so go in with the little brothers,
alright?” Byron leaned over and helped the little one with her school bag. He firmly pressed the little
girl’s shoulders without a word and adjusted the bag strap to her size.

The little girl then slowly followed Lucian and Nox into the kindergarten.

Looking at the backs of the three little children, Rosalie sighed silently, barely showing a little smile.
She then said goodbye to Miss Leigh Ann and turned to walk in the direction of the car.

Just after taking two steps, Byron’s deep voice sounded behind her. “How’s your recovery?”



He agreed to take Estie to see Rosalie because he also wanted to check on the woman’s recovery, but
he never had a chance to speak to her.

When she heard his concern, Rosalie was stunned for a few seconds and felt a strange feeling in her
heart.

Byron did not wait for her answer. His eyes darkened as he was about to say something, but he saw
the woman turn around to lookback at him.

“I’m much better. Thank you for your concern, President Lawrence.” Rosalie looked at the man in front
of her detachedly, then hesitated for a moment before saying in a low voice, “Also, I hope you’ll try not
to bring Estie to my house in the future. That’ll cause me great trouble.”

She could never say this to the little one, but it was okay to tell the man.

Byron’s face sank as he looked at her displeasedly. ” Miss Jacobs, you should tell Estie that yourself.
You know how she is. When she throws a tantrum, I can only give in to her.”

After speaking, without waiting for Rosalie to respond, he opened the door and got into the car.
