Chapter 335 Could Not Argue

It was late after Melody left the hospital. She was livid, but she still went back home.

This time, she must confront that Jacobs woman and get an explanation, she would also make sure
she gave Rosalie a piece of her mind!

As for what she was going to say to the woman, it must be carefully thought out.

Melody had all these thoughts swimming in her mind all night.

It was one sleepless night.

The next morning, Melody simply ate breakfast and asked the driver to take her to Rosalie’s house.

Rosalie was eating breakfast with the little boys.

After Nox took the medicine, he got better. He ate breakfast with gusto.

Seeing that the boy was as energetic as usual, Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief.

She wanted to take the boys to the research institute after breakfast but did not expect an uninvited
guest to appear.

The little boys were still eating when they heard the doorbell. Rosalie got up and opened the door.

Seeing the person at the door, Rosalie’s heart sank slightly. She turned around and said to Nanny Lisa,
” I’m going out now. Please take care of the children.”

Lisa agreed.



The little guys did not see the person at the door and just thought that Mommy was going to work
again, so they said goodbye to her sensibly.

Rosalie smiled casually at the boys and turned her head, but her face was indifferent. “Mrs. Lawrence,
what’s the matter? Let’s talk outside.”

Melody’s appearance was outright unfriendly, and she did not want to get her sons involved.

Melody gave her a disdainful look and turned around without saying a word.

Rosalie hesitated for a moment and followed.

The car stopped in front of a cafe near her house.

Melody still had a sullen face and did not say a word to her.

Rosalie could feel the coldness on her.

Come to think of it, the only reason why she would look for her was because of Byron.

The two took their seats in the cafe, and Melody said leisurely, “I’m sure you know why I’m here to look
for you.”

Rosalie’s thin lips were slightly pursed as she looked at her indifferently. Her silence was regarded to
be an admission.

“Six years ago, you left the Lawrence family without saying goodbye, leaving behind only a divorce
agreement. You humiliated our family. It’s been so long, and I didn’t intend to pursue the matter with
you. But being the weasel you are, you got entangled with Byron again after returning to Somerland.”



Melody’s tone was frosty. “Long ago, I said that the Lawrence family could no longer accommodate
people like you! I warned you once before while you were entangled with Byron. Did you just ignore me
like that? why are you still obsessed with Byron after my warning?”

Rosalie frowned slightly. “Excuse me, but please make it clear. I’m only in contact with President
Lawrence due to the kids. You don’t want me to get involved with President Lawrence, and I don’t want
to get into trouble either, so why would I be obsessed with him?”

“If you are not obsessed with him, are you saying that my son is obsessed with you?” Melody
sarcastically looked at her. “Even so, you have to be self-aware. Byron has a fiancee. His future wife
can’t be you, and I won’t let him marry you either!”

Rosalie knew long ago that it would end up this way, so when she heard this, her heart felt indifferent
about the accusations.

Then, Melody continued, “I’ve been turning a blind eye to the two of you coming into contact because
of the child. But this time, you laid a hand on Wendy, and I can’t tolerate that at all. Wendy got injured
trying to save. When she has finally recovered, you pushed her and she got injured for the second
time. Rosalie, you’re a cruel and evil woman. I don’t dare to let you go get close to Byron anymore.”

Hearing this, Rosalie’s expression changed slightly.

‘Wendy got hurt again? Is it because of what happened last night?’

She knew very well that it was a ploy acted and directed by Wendy herself, but at the moment, she
could not argue.

Seeing her silence, Melody thought she was acquiescing. Her face became colder and stern. “So,
you’d better know your place, otherwise, I don’t mind sending you back to where you came from!”
