Can I Sit Here?

“Daddy didn’t eat either.” The little girl’s cheeks were bulging with food as she did not forget to point at
her own Daddy on the sofa.

After hesitating for awhile, Rosalie turned around and looked in Byron’s direction. “President Lawrence,
if you haven’t had breakfast, come and have some together. I think the hot spring hotel is quite far

Hearing her invitation, Byron got up unhurriedly. ” Then I shall help myself. Thanks, Miss Jacobs.”

Lisa quickly prepared tableware for him on the seat opposite Rosalie.

They all ate some breakfast before heading out to the car.

After walking out of the villa, Rosalie was about to drive her car out when she heard a deep voice say, ”
Get in my car.”

Rosalie paused slightly, turned around, and looked at the man distantly, “oh, it’s alright. I’ll just drive
over with the boys.”

The two little boys ran to their mother’s side knowingly.

Estie hesitated for a while but turned around and hugged her father’s thigh.

She wanted to be with Auntie, but she wanted Daddy to be with Auntie even more.

If she followed Daddy, Auntie would definitely not take Daddy’s car.



Byron saw that the little girl was so sensible. He raised his brows imperceptibly, touched the child’s
head, and said to Rosalie, “Estie might also want to be with the two brothers.”

Hearing this, Rosalie looked down at the little girl beside Byron. Just as she was about to invite the little
girl to come with her, the man added, “Besides, this resort is a popular vacation spot. There might not
be enough parking space since it’s a weekend.”

Estie also looked at her pitifully. “Auntie…”

Rosalie was soft-hearted when she looked at Estie and agreed.

Since they had already agreed to go together, there was no need to be inflexible with the plans.

Rosalie took the little boys to Byron’s car, looked at the backseat, and hesitated to squeeze in with the
little boys.

After all, she was not sure if the front passenger seat was exclusive to Wendy Fuller.

In the car, Estie saw Rosalie’s intentions and glanced at her daddy again. She said to the two boys in
her childlike voice, “It’s so crowded here.”

The brothers responded to Estie’s statement by scooching to the ends of their seats.

Rosalie stopped and felt it was not wise to squeeze with the little kids.

For a while, the atmosphere seemed to be stagnant.

Rosalie stood beside the car with some awkwardness and glanced at the empty front passenger seat
as well as the expressionless Byron. 1

“Auntie, get in the car quickly.” Estie urged innocently.



Rosalie reluctantly smiled and nodded, she moved to the front passenger seat, opened the door, and
asked, “Can I sit here?”

The man looked at her with a cold expression. “Where else are you going to sit besides here? It’s
getting late. If we set off any later, I’m afraid there won’t even be a parking space.”

He knew that the woman wanted to avoid him, but he did not expect that she would resist him to such a
degree.

‘Woman, there’s only one seat left in the car, yet you still don’t want to sit next to me.’

Thinking of this, there was a burst of annoyance in Byron’s heart.

Rosalie just thought he was angry that she was wasting too much time, so she apologetically sped up
and sat in the seat.

After she fastened her seat belt, the car started as they drove toward the hotel.
