Chapter 512

Wait For The Little Brothers Together

At the kindergarten.

School had ended, and most of the children had gone home. Only three little ones were left on the
small playground, waiting for their parents to pick them up.

Fortunately, the little kids were in a good mood at the thought of rehearsing together later.

Lucian and Nox would speak from time to time, while Estie sat obediently at the side, her little face
flushed red with a smile.

“Why is Nanny Lisa not here yet?” Nox found it a little strange as the sky had gotten darker.

Lisa used to come very early, but it was so late now.

Lucian also frowned, but he still comforted his younger brother. “Maybe something came up. Let’s just
wait.”

At the same time, Byron strode in from the gate of the kindergarten. At a glance, he saw the little ones
sitting on the bench in a row.

“Daddy!” Estie was the first to see her daddy and waved at him.

Byron walked over quickly and frowned at the sight of the other two little boys.

For the past few days, Rosalie had been avoiding them. Hence, Lisa always came to pickup these
boys. Whenever he arrived, the little boys had already been picked up.

“Where’s Nanny Lisa?” Byron asked in a warm voice.

The little boys shrugged. They were also confused. ” We don’t know.”

“Brother said that something came up for Nanny Lisa, ” Nox explained in his impish voice.

Hearing this, Byron frowned, looked at the time, then turned to the little boys. “I’ll send you boys home.”

The brothers looked at each other.

Nox’s eyes contained a small trace of excitement, but Lucian shook his head flatly with the same
estranged expression as Rosalie. “No, we’ll wait for Nanny Lisa to pick us up. If Nanny comes and
doesn’t see US, she’ll be worried.”

His deep voice responded, “I’ll call your mommy so that she can inform Nanny Lisa.”

The little boys were still reluctant.

“I was going to bring Estie to your house for rehearsal anyway,” Byron added.

Estie also echoed, “Let’s go together! My daddy will inform Nanny Lisa. It’s getting too late. Let’s go!”

With that, the little girl tugged on the brothers’ schoolbags expectantly.

The two boys clung to their schoolbags sullenly, and their rejection of Byron was apparent.

Estie looked back at her daddy for help.

Byron stroked the little girl’s head soothingly, then looked at the two boys on the bench. “If you both
continue to wait here, Miss Leigh Ann will also need to wait with you. Think about how your teacher
would feel.”



When Miss Leigh Ann heard this, she instinctively wanted to say she did not mind waiting. However,
after looking at Byron’s expression, she swallowed her words and put up a facade. She looked at the
little boys with a reluctant expression.

The boys looked at Miss Leigh Ann and thought about Mommy with guilt written all over their faces.

At this time, Estie pursed her mouth and patted her belly pitifully. “I’m hungry.”

Byron raised his brows slightly. “We have to wait for the brothers before we can leave together.”

After hearing this, the boys finally got off the bench with their schoolbags and slowly moved to Byron’s
side.

Byron motioned for Estie to hold the brothers’ hands as they turned around to say goodbye to their
teacher. He then took the children out of the kindergarten.

After the children got into the car, Byron slowly started the car and drove toward Rosalie’s house.

The three children huddled in the back row. Estie said a few words to the brothers from time to time.
After a while, the three children let go of themselves and started their usual banter in the backseat.

Listening to the children’s noisy banter, Byron’s expression softened. There was a tiny smile in his
eyes.
