Chapter 336 Made Up Her Mind

Rosalie knew that Melody’s prejudice against her could no longer be reversed as the older woman had
always been on her high horse, judging her. Well, there was no need to reverse her perceptions
anyway since they would not have any contact in the future.

Thinking of this, Rosalie’s mood slowly calmed down. “Mrs. Lawrence, you can rest assured that not
everyone is interested in your son. Or at least, I’m not interested in him. I only keep in contact with him
for Estie’s sake. With your reminder this time, I’ll pay more attention in the future and stay away from
President Lawrence.”

As for Wendy’s injury, Rosalie was unsure if it was related to her. she decided not to mention it again.

Melody scrutinized her for a long time as if to explore the truth of what she said.

After a while, she frowned coldly. “That’s for the best. You’d better remember what you said today.”

Rosalie nodded slightly. “If there’s nothing else, I have to go back to take care of my children, so I’ll
leave first. This cup of coffee is on me.”

After speaking, Rosalie got up to leave without waiting for Melody to respond.

As she stood up, a man was standing outside the private room.

It was uncertain when Byron came, how long he had been standing here, and why he was even here,
but she knew he was crossed from the dark look on his face.

They were looking at each other, and Rosalie’s heart tightened slightly. She lowered her eyes and
hurriedly suppressed the odd feeling in her heart before she raised her eyes to meet his gaze again,
she then greeted the man indifferently, “Hello, President Lawrence.”



Byron frowned and looked at the woman in front of him with a heavy gaze. She looked calm as if
nothing had happened.

Early in the morning, he received a message from his subordinates that his mother came to look for

Rosalie, and the two came to this cafe together.

Byron deeply thought about what had happened yesterday and knew that his mother must have come
to trouble Rosalie, so he immediately put down his work and rushed over.

When he came in a hurry, he never expected to hear such ironic words coming from this woman.

Not everyone was interested in him. At least, she was not.

When he heard that, Byron stopped in his tracks and found it completely ironic.

Six years ago, this young woman had her sights fully on him.

Now that six years had passed, she was able to calmly say such words.

Looking at the woman in front of him who was extremely distant from him, he choked out the words,
“What do you mean by what you just said?”

Rosalie glanced at Melody who was still sitting across, and the corners of her lips were raised with a
touch of indifference. “I don’t know what you heard, but what I said just now was from my heart. I
believe that with your level of comprehension, you’ll understand what I said. I hope we won’t disturb
each other in the future.’’

Rosalie nodded simply to the two in front of her and strode away.

As soon as she passed by his side, his big hand reached out and grabbed her wrist.



Rosalie frowned, lowered her voice, and warned sharply. “Let go of me.”

Byron frowned as he looked at the woman beside him. A sharp aura erupted around her.

Rosalie clenched her teeth and turned to give him a stern stare.

When he met her gaze, the strength in Byron’s hand tightened again, but in the next second, he silently
loosened his strength and let go of the slender wrist in his hand.

He could see that the woman had made up her mind. No matter what he said, it would be useless.

Rosalie retracted her gaze, headed to the cashier to settle the bill, and then strode away without
looking back.
