Best In The World

The car gradually stopped at the door of Rosalie’s house. Thinking of the boys at home, Rosalie forced
her thoughts away and thanked Leon with a smile, “Thank you for everything, Leon.” Leon nodded. He
watched her get out of the car and said in a deep voice, “You should think about what I said.”

Rosalie was stunned but nodded reluctantly.

Seeing Leon’s car leave, Rosalie adjusted her mood before turning to open the door.

The moment she opened the door, she heard the sound of the children roughhousing with Mary.

Rosalie inexplicably felt her mood improve greatly just from hearing their voices, and the smile on her
face became more genuine.

“Mommy!” Lucian was the first to see her and immediately got out of the scuffle. He ran over to hug her
leg.

Nox and Mary were still roughhousing each other. They only noticed the person at the door when they
heard Lucian’s voice. They immediately stopped to welcome her. The two boys hugged her legs on
each side. Rosalie smiled and caressed their heads, “Have you two been good to your godmother?”

The two boys nodded vigorously. “We have!”

Mary looked at them with fake exasperation. “They were so noisy. They were even clamoring to rob me
of my mobile phone just now.” The two boys looked up at their godmother angrily. “That’s because
Mommy wasn’t back yet and we wanted to call her!”

Mary made a face at the two boys.



She knew what they were going to do when they asked her for her mobile phone just now. However,

foreheads and said to Rosalie, “These two are truly your sons. They’re so clever.”



The boys went over and grabbed Mary’s hand with an obedient expression. “But we’ll take good care of
Godmother, who’s the second best in the world!”

Even without asking, one would know who was the best in the world for them.

The smile on Rosalie’s face grew.

Seeing that it was getting dark, Rosalie suggested. “Let’s go out for dinner. What do you want to eat?”

Nox raised his hand. “I want to eat hot pot!”

The two boys grew up abroad. Mary had brought them to go eat surf ‘n’ turf several times after
