Chapter 480 Cannot Bear The Responsibility

After the small interlude between Lucius and Rosalie, their meals could be considered a happy one.

After lunch, the doctors of each respective room walked back together. The children also followed
obediently. Many of the doctors were already getting along with the children.

Rosalie was swarmed. Even Xander and the others could not really move.

The candies in Rosalie’s bag were practically cleaned out after they finally made it to the entrance of
their room.

When they were walking into the room, Lucius, who still had some candies in his hand, was even more
popular than Rosalie. The children surrounded him, and their faces were full of smiles as if they had
forgotten the unpleasantness from this morning.

Seeing the children so close to Lucius, Rosalie’s heart softened.

She understood these children too well, children never held grudges. No matter what you had done to
them, as long as you showed them your sincerity, they would face you in the gentlest manner.

Seeing that Lucius’s candy was practically all distributed, Rosalie clapped her hands and told the
children to come back and line up. ” Children, we’re going to start diagnosis and treatment now!”

and waited quietly.



The four adults looked at the children and smiled at each other. They lowered their gazes and began to
treat the children seriously.

“Young Master Lancer, a batch of supplies has been sent at the gate of the orphanage. They’re saying
it’s for US.” The staff member was standing at the door, asking for Xander’s advice.

Hearing this, everyone was stunned.

The free clinic was already halfway through. Why would someone suddenly send supplies over?

Moreover, Xander did not know about this in advance.

When he came back to his senses, Xander frowned and responded, ” Have them take it back and tell
them that we won’t accept any supplies from outside during the Lancer family’s free clinic.”

Over the years, for the sake of insurance, most of the Lancer family’s materials were provided by
themselves. Even if they needed supplies, they would contact the other families in advance and would
not accept any voluntary donations.

After all, they did not have an understanding of the materials sent by outsiders. If any problems were to
arise with the materials, the Lancers would not be able to bear the responsibility.

The staff member hesitantly said, “They were sent by the Quirkes. Do you want them to take the things
back?”

Hearing this, Xander and Leon subconsciously looked toward Rosalie.



The only person here who would be linked to the Quirkes and have them suddenly send supplies over
was Rosalie.

Although the Lancers had some friendship with the Quirkes, the Quirkes had never shown such
goodwill throughout the many years they had been holding this free clinic event. This time, the Quirkes
not only recommend Rosalie to join, but they also donated supplies. People could easily connect the
dots.

Aware of both of their gazes, Rosalie hurriedly waved her hand, her expression rather bemused.

never heard old Master Quirke mention these materials to Andrius.
