She had her military bag and, carrying Tong Mianmian, the group was about to take the bus to their new place.
Aunty Tsai, Mother Xu, and the others walked with them to the entrance of the compound.
Aunty Tsai’s eyes were beet red. “Xuelu, come back and visit whenever you have time, okay?”
Tong Xuelu nodded. “I will. Don’t worry, Aunty, I will be back often. Oh right, please help me return the key to Comrade Su.”
