Wen Rugui took two steps back and his face was still so red that it looked like blood could drip out of it but his heart felt empty.
Tong Xuelu found his look somewhat pitiful. She held his hand and said, “We’ll do that next time.”
Then she went to open the door.
As soon as the door opened up, Tong Mianmian’s little body dashed toward her. “Big Sister, there’s someone here looking for you!”
Tong Xuelu rubbed her head. “I know now. Did he come alone or are there others with him?”
Tong Mianmian cocked her head and said in a milky voice. “Just by himself. Big Sister, why would someone have a name like Zeisheng? Third Brother said ‘Zeisheng’ meant kid of thief.”

“It’s not Zeisheng, it’s Jiesheng. Don’t babble in front of our guest now, okay?”
The siblings had always been bickering with each other. Tong Jiaxin loved to tease Tong Mianmian and sometimes would even fart at her. Tong Mianmian loved to say that her Third Brother was ugly and Tong Xuelu never intervened with those.
She felt that a child up with too much restrains would lose their childish playfulness.

Tong Xuelu nodded. “Go tell you Third Brother to not go babbling either. Else I will have to teach him a lesson.”
Tong Mianmian nodded and pitter pattered off to look for her Third Brother.
Her Third Brother wasn’t good looking but he was sweet to her. She didn’t want to see him punished.
Tong Xuelu turned and explained to Wen Rugui. “Jackson is the son of the Jie Chengzhou, a NU translator. I have no idea why he is over. Let me go find out.”
Wen Rugui, “I’ll come with you.”
“Okay.”
Jackson was already sitting inside the living room.
Old Mr. Wen felt alarmed and he looked at Jackson up and down like searchlights.
Commander Xiao, too, looked at him with scrutiny and judgment.
Jackson hadn’t expected that he would run into two elderlies as soon as he arrived.
With the two elderlies looking at him with sword-like looks and each of them more stern-looking than the others, Jackson felt that he was about to break into cold sweat.
Right when he was about to bow out, Tong Xuelu appeared by the door.
Jackson looked like he had just found his savior. He dashed over, “Comrade Tong, you are finally here!” If you don’t show up soon, I worry about my personal safety!
Tong Xuelu smiled and said, “How did you find out where I live, Comrade Xiao Jie?”
Jackson said, “Director Lin gave me your address.”

Jackson, “The photos that I have taken of you have been developed a few days ago. I thought I would drop them off.”
As he spoke, he pulled out 4 ~ 5 photos. “Comrade Tong is very attractive. I feel that you will make a great model. Model means model.” (TL: “Model” was spoken in English.)
Tong Xuelu took the photos from him and looked at them.
Welp, Jackson was a pretty good photographer. He was able to make her look like a fairy even when she was in her all grey outfit.
