She had been practicing a lot at home in the last few days when she was not working and she wanted to impressed everyone this time.
Sun Wuyang was pleased with her respond. “I trust your skills in dance. Too bad that Rugui can’t make it back. It would be perfect if he could be here.”

Low and behold, she received good news the next morning. That Wen Rugui had returned from his base!
Sun Manrou was ecstatic when she learned of the news. She felt for certain that Wen Rugui returned specifically to see her performance!

Wen Rugui happened to be mentioning the event at the military compound tonight to Tong Xuelu.

Tong Xuelu had learned about the event form Old Mr. Wen in the past. She was not interested in it before, but she had since changed her mind.
She wasn’t aware of existence of Sun Manrou, the green tea, before. And that Wen Rugui was not back. That was why she was not interested in it.
Now that Wen Rugui was back. She wanted to see how Wen Rugui would handle matters with Green Tea Sun.
Wen Rugui, “I’ll come and pick you up tonight then.”
As Tong Xuelu still must work, the two must part for the time being.
And Wen Rugui returned to the military compound.
