Since Liu Dongchang often remained in the restaurant and Tong Xuelu didn’t want to have any conflicts in her workplace, Tong Xuelu’s hand did not shake when she handed out food to Tan Xiaoyan. Tan Xiaoyan got the same amount as everyone else.

They all looked like important government officials.

Indeed, all of the guests were government officials. With their authority, they had always phoned and placed their orders ahead of time when they visited government-operated restaurants in the past. No servers anywhere would dare to be rude to them.
As such, they were not surprised that Tong Xuelu’s attitude was very nice. They merely found the “welcome” part very refreshing.

Unhurriedly, Tong Xuelu answered, “Mapo tofu, house pig feet, and hot and sour potatoes.”
As she listed them out, the men gulped at each of the dishes.
A bald man then said, “We want all of them. Give us an order for each dish!”
Tong Xuelu acknowledged him, turned, and walked into the kitchen.
Guo Weiping quickly put down his chopstick and followed behind her to help out.
Meng Qingqing could sense that her colleagues’ attitudes were different, but she couldn’t tell that these men were government officials. Nevertheless, she also put her chopsticks down and went to collect money and tickets.
Tan Xiaoyan was the only one who was still eating nonstop like a fool. In fact, she even called Tong Xuelu name. “Brown-noser.”
When Liu Dongchang heard that, he gave her a vicious stare. He only wished he could dump the mapo tofu over her head!
All the necessary ingredients had already been prepared in advance, and the pig feet were all cooked at the same time earlier. All Tong Xuelu needed to prepare were the mapo tofu and the hot and sour potatoes.

The little fried meat was so gullible. Tong Xuelu felt a little bit guilty for lying. Thus, she encouraged him, “Practice makes perfect. You will get to my level if you work hard at it.”
Guo Weiping’s eyes were bright like that of a baby dear. His cheeks blushed from excitement.
