“Don’t move. You are sick. I should take care of you.” Jing Yichen’s voice was light, but his expression was serious.

Shangguan Ning’s eyes welled up. She tried to control herself to prevent the tears from trickling down.
No one in this entire world except her mother had ever been willing to warm her feet and wash her hands.

Her heart that had been wobbly and unsure, became determined.

Jing Yichen took a sip of the pigeon soup and said lightly, “Are you thinking that your husband is really delicious as well?”
Shangguan Ning blinked, and burst into laughter.
After dinner, Jing Yichen took Shangguan Ning to the bedroom and pointed at the wardrobe. “Your clothes are all in the wardrobe. Pick any you want. I am going to shower.”
Seeing Jing Yichen entering the bathroom, Shangguan Ning opened the wardrobe in bewilderment and then her eyes widened.
It was only yesterday morning when she had opened this wardrobe and found it full of Jing Yichen’s clothes, and now all of them were replaced with women clothes of her size.
Shangguan Ning grinned. She suddenly thought that maybe life would become more beautiful than she had imagined.
At least, Jing Yichen would care about her in every single trivial matter.
Shangguan Ning picked a set of loosen pajamas and entered another bathroom.
When she came out, Jing Yichen was already in bed.
Shangguan Ning had no idea whether to retreat or to advance as she stood there.
Although she had told herself that she needed to be a qualified wife. But psychologically, she was not yet ready to sleep with a man.
Seeing her standing there in hesitation, Jing Yichen stood up, took her up and threw her onto the bed.
Shangguan Ning let out a cry of surprise and shrank into the corner.
Jing Yichen swept her into his arms. “Who are you hiding from? We are legally married, what is wrong with sleeping together? Also, what are you dressed so conventionally for?”
Although he was speaking something frightening, yet he didn’t behave in this way. Instead, he held her in his arms tightly.
Feeling that the woman in his arms relax, Jing Yichen said lightly, “Ning, I know that everything happened too quickly. But I don’t regret even a single thing. It is okay, let’s take it slowly. We will get to know each other better and run this marriage well and fine. I am confident about it.”
Her heartbeat kicked up at his words, making it difficult for her to calm down.

She placed her head into his arms and replied lightly, “Okay!”
It was a dreamless night. She woke up in his arms the following morning.
All seemed quite unrealistic – the warm hug, the handsome face and the flirty air.
Jing Yichen planted a soft kiss on her forehead. His voice was low and sexy. “My honey, good morning! Did you sleep well last night?”
Shangguan Ning was still drowsy. She nodded sleepily upon hearing the words.
“How did it feel to have your husband’s arm as the pillow? And, where did the drooling come from, on my chest?”
Shangguan Ning flushed instantly. She was instantly awake at this moment.
She jumped off the bed and rushed into the bathroom, trying to avoid his scorching eyes.
Jing Yichen’s laughter followed her there.
Shangguan Ning realized belatedly that she had been fooled by him again!
She never drooled when she slept. She tended to sleep in a good posture.
She brushed her teeth angrily, ignoring that man’s childish joke.
Shangguan Ning was about to change after she finished washing herself up when Jing Yichen stretched out his arms and grabbed the clothes.
“Take a rest at home today. You aren’t allowed to go anywhere today!” His voice didn’t sound so cold as usual, but it was still bossy and making Shangguan Ning feel warm inside.
“It won’t be good if I don’t work!”
“Why not, I am the boss! I have the final say! If I ask the assistant to take the leave, then the assistant isn’t allowed to go to work!” The handsome President was bossy beyond words could describe.
“I didn’t get the work easily. I need to work hard! I am only able to protect myself when I have certain power, otherwise some bossy President would force me to report work someday.” Shangguan Ning was trying to convince her own boss.
Jing Yichen knew that she had a lot to complain, so he got kind of unconfident too and softened his tone. “I got really angry the other day. You promised to stay at home but went to work in sickness, instead. And you got a fever too. I was just worried about you. I didn’t forbid you to work. You can do anything you want when you get well. But you really need to take a good rest at home for the next few days.”
Shangguan Ning suddenly thought of his schedule that was ruined because of her. She asked anxiously, “Have you bought Star Media yet?”
