“I know you are living with a woman called Zhao Anan. She is like a nuisance to me.”
One single sentence of hers made Mu Qing’s expression change dramatically.
Yang Muyan had been gazing at Mu Qing’s face. Seeing his expression undergo tremendous change, she couldn’t help but display her intimidating confidence. “I don’t care how many women you have had, as long as you keep none after we get married. I don’t think anyone can take you away from me, including Zhao Anan!”
Mu Qing sprang up and said in rage, “If you dare to touch one single strand of her hair, I will definitely kill you!”
Untouched, Yang Muyan showed nothing except a moment of jealousy.
“You seem to care so much about her. It seems that my little birds have delivered wrong information to me. I had thought that since I can’t marry you instantly, she could live for a few more days to keep your company. But she seems like a threat at this moment, so it is better that she dies early.”
Mu Qing looked at Yang Muyan with a frozen expression. He was now realizing that the situation had spun out of his control. He was an excellent doctor, but not a qualified strategist. That was Yang Muyan’s strongest suit.
Only Jing Yichen was capable of dealing with Yang Muyan.
Also, this mental woman was a mess that Jing Yichen had created. Zhao Anan being his cousin, Jing Yichen had all the reasons to handle this issue quickly and efficiently.
What Mu Qing did not know was that even if Jing Yichen had not taken him to meet Yang Muyan, she had been keeping tabs on Mu Qing for ages now. And Yang Muyan was here tonight not out of a momentary instinct, but it was an occasion that she had been waiting for long.
Yang Muyan had only two goals in recent times, one – to overturn Family Jing so that they could compensate for the dead members of Family Yang and two – Mu Qing.
She had no plans to spend her life alone and wanted to find a man to live a happy life with.
As for Zhao Anan, Yang Muyan had never considered her as a threat.
“Get out of here now! I will never marry you, you crazy woman. Just throw that idea out of your head.” Mu Qing sat down once again. He knew that he couldn’t handle Yang Muyan alone and needed Jing Yichen and Zheng Jing’s support.
Yang Muyan seemed quite confident about herself as she said in a hoarse voice, “You will marry me. You will bend down on your knees and beg me to marry you. You care about a lot of people and you will surrender as long as I pick one out of them. But I like your being responsible, so your family is safe for now. But I can’t guarantee the future.”
By now, Mu Qing understood how crazy Yang Muyan was. She had become even more stubborn now compared to their first meeting.
Mu Qing was about to say something when the door to his cabin was opened.
Zhao Anan walked in, followed by Zheng Jing.
Zhao Anan frowned when she saw the woman sitting opposite Mu Qing and asked nonchalantly, “Scumbag Mu, who is going to marry this woman? Who did she say that she likes?”
When Zheng Jing caught sight of Yang Muyan, he got startled. But due to years of professional training, he didn’t display any change in his expressions. He stood calmly on one side.
But all his senses were on alert. What was this woman doing here with Mu Qing? They seemed to be talking about something related to “marrying”?
Mu Qing’s face turned pale as he saw Zhao Anan and Zheng Jing enter. He sprang up on his feet and approached Zhao Anan. In a low voice, he asked her, “You heard everything?”
He was worried that Zhao Anan would get jealous of Yang Muyan and leave from there.
Actually, Zhao Anan had just heard a little bit of their conversation. When she realised that a woman was flirting with Mu Qing, she got irritated and walked in.
She was careless but not stupid. Hearing what Mu Qing said, she rolled her eyes and said with a sunken face, “Yes, we heard it all!”
Zheng Jing wanted to give Mu Qing a hint that he and Zhao Anan heard nothing. But Mu Qing didn’t even bother to look at him and started explaining to Zhao Anan, anxiously.
Zheng Jing shook his head slightly. This clever Mu turned totally dumb when he ran into Zhao Anan.
“Anan, don’t misunderstand please. I don’t like this woman. You know very well that I have always liked you and I swear to God that I will only marry you. This woman is completely crazy. Don’t listen to her or think too much about it. Now, go home and rest. I will come home as soon as I finish handling this matter.”
Mu Qing had no idea how much Zhao Anan had heard, but he didn’t want her to harbour any misunderstanding.
Zhao Anan swung her gaze from Mu Qing to Yang Muyan and then burst into laughter. “It is alright. You two look cute together. Also, I have never thought about marrying anyone. You can continue. There is no need to worry about my feelings getting hurt.”
The other three people in the office got startled.
Yang Muyan addressed her in a bossy tone. “Good that you know your actual worth.”
Her men had kept their eyes on Mu Qing and Zhao Anan for a very long time. The conclusion that they had drawn was that Mu Qing was devoted to Zhao Anan but Zhao Anan didn’t care about Mu Qing at all.
Zhao Anan looked at her in anger. Jing Yichen was the only man who could get away by talking with Zhao Anan in this tone. Yang Muyan was an unknown woman who dared to speak with her in this way!
Zhao Anan had not wanted to argue with her because she knew pretty well that Mu Qing was devoted to her. She was used to women throwing themselves on Mu Qing all the time. This woman didn’t seem any different.
But this tone of hers irritated the hot tempered Zhao Anan.
She suddenly threw herself at Yang Muyan and punched her.
Yang Muyan didn’t expect that this woman would start a fight because of a verbal dispute. Without any preparation, she was thrown to the ground and her head started to spin.
She had been fragile and sick for a long time. Also, she was a well protected miss of Family Yang. So, she was no match against Zhao Anan who was strong and was involved in fights on a daily basis.
Due to Zhao Anan’s force, she had a severe fall and couldn’t get back on her feet for quite a while!
