He made arrangements for Hu Er to leave the city yesterday, but he had still been captured by Jing Yichen.
Was Jing Yichen doing this to force honesty out of him?
But he truly had no idea where the goddamned will was.
Without caring for anything else, Hu Yi walked up to Jing Yichen, sat down on his knees and pleaded for mercy. “Master Jing, please Master Jing. I truly have no idea of what is that will or where is it. I did not have a very close relation with the Second Master. I don’t know why he left everything to me. Please have mercy! Please do not hurt my useless brother, okay?”
Jing Yichen looked at him without saying a word. He seemed to have turned colder and more lethal.
Hu Yi swallowed hard and said, “Master Jing, I really did not get any benefits from Second Master. Every time I did something for him, he transferred the money to me directly. Those old antiques were sold through many middle men and I almost made no profits on them. Did you make a mistake about him leaving the will to me?”
He looked up and saw Jing Yichen’s cold expression. Startled, he changed the way he put forward the question. “What about giving me a hint?”
Jing Yichen remained silent, but Tiger spoke up. “Head Hu, we did not make any mistake in getting the information. The will was truly left to you. It was done in the past half year. I can make Hu Er help you with the information if you can’t think of anything.”
Having said the words, Tiger nodded at the two men in black who held Hu Er in their arms.
The men broke his arms, respectively with a loud creaking sound.
Hu Er’s screams echoed across the vast room, making everyone’s hair stand up.
Hu Yi felt very concerned for his brother and kept begging for mercy with a pale face.
Hu Er had not gone through any misery being under the protection of his brother. So when his arms were broken, it gave him so much pain that he had tears trickle down his cheeks.
Under immense pain, Hu Er suddenly bellowed loudly as something hit his brain. “Ahhhh! I remember now, Brother, I know where the will is.”
Hu Yi’s chubby body shivered as he asked in a hurry, “Where is it?!”
Jing Yichen and his men turned to look at Hu Er.
“I sold two houses for him before the New Year, but I lied to him that only one of them was sold, and I kept the certificate of properties of the other one to myself. In those papers, I saw your name on one of them. Could it have something to do with this?”
Head Hu was furious. This greedy bastard! He almost got everyone killed today. How dare he hide Jing Yiran’s properties? Anything else was better than this.
He had so much money. Why would he need another house?!
Head Hu immediately ordered his men to fetch the certificates and information of the house. Sure enough, a piece of paper was hidden between them and there were two large words printed there – The Will!
Head Hu was certain that his brother had been used by Jing Yiran, and it served him right. His greed would have killed them all today.
Without daring to take even one more look at it, he handed the papers to Jing Yichen.
Jing Yichen did not accept it, but Tiger did. He observed the paper carefully and gave it to Mu Qing.
Mu Qing looked at it and then gave it back to Tiger as he said with a smile, “Something is on the surface of the paper. One touch is okay, but holding the paper for long may kill you slowly.”
Head Hu got startled by what Mu Qing said. He kept rubbing his hands, fearing that he had been poisoned.
Jing Yichen got a bit startled by how smoothly the matter got over. But since he already got what he needed, he did not stay on any longer. He left with his men, leaving Hu Er getting severely scolded by Head Hu.
It was Sunday the following day and the bank was closed. But when Jing Yichen asked for the opening of the locker, the President of Asian Region of the Bank received him personally and asked his staff to do the needful.
The headquarters of the bank was located in Switzerland. It was an internationally commercial bank with high confidential features and reliability. They were very strict with their procedures.
But the President did not go through the process of inspection, and left it to his staff to complete the process. He sat and drank tea with Jing Yichen so as to express his friendliness.
Family Jing was a huge potential client and if such a huge client could join their bank, then their annual goal would be accomplished ahead of time.
Soon the things inside the locker were taken out. Head Hu got so shocked that he almost passed out when he saw documents worth hundreds of billions in his hands.
He was a rich man, but compared to Family Jing, his properties were nothing.
No wonder Jing Yichen had used so much effort to get these things back. The shares and the properties inside the locker were worth a great deal of money.
Head Hu tried very hard not to think about keeping these things with him.
He was the appointed heir of Jing Yiran, and the legal heir of these properties.
But he was rational enough to give those documents to Tiger, one after another.
When the shares were in his hand, Jing Yichen let out a slight sigh of relief.
He had regained his shares and also some extra stuff, like the 20% shares of Ji’s Enterprise, properties and land worth hundreds of millions as well as savings of hundreds of millions of yuan alongwith a list of Jing Yiran’s men.
Jing Yiran must have been so confident about not dying that he put all of his properties in the bank locker for future use.
His will had been a tool to confuse Jing Yichen, just in case.
Although Jing Yiran was still alive in reality, he was already deceased in the eyes of the law. Lu had made a death certificate for him and he would not be able to get back any of these properties.
Most of Jing Yiran’s properties had been gained from Mo Lan, and he had sold everything from the Jing Family and turned them into untraceable properties and money.
Now, Jing Yichen finally had extra money to get back the legacies of Family Jing.
Jing Yichen returned the 20% shares of Ji’s Enterprise to Ji Bo.
Ji’s Enterprise had recently been in a terrible state with stock prices falling tremendously. So the shares were not as valuable as before.
But those were the shares that could control Family Ji, far more than what money could buy. When Jing Yichen gave the shares back to Ji Bo, he was extremely shocked.
