Tang Shunian got slightly startled when he failed to touch her.
A mixed feeling arose inside, making him feel that if he truly touched Shangguan Ning, he might still get nausea.
But the intensity of it might turn out to be lesser than usual.
It seemed that his obsession towards cleanness could be cured, as long as he was with the right person.
He withdrew his hand and hung it by his side.
“You don’t like it if I touch you?”
Shangguan Ning shook her head with determination as she saw his gentle and affectionate look. “Of course not! You are crossing the line! You disgust me.”
Instead of being pissed, Tang Shunian agreed. “Oh, I do understand this feeling, because before I met you, I felt like puking whenever a woman approached me.”
“But.” He changed the topic and said with raised eyebrows, “So far, you are the woman who isn’t making me feel disgusted, so, you probably need to stay with me.”
“I am married.”
“Doesn’t matter. I don’t mind it.”
“I have a child. You better go look for younger and prettier women!”
“It is alright, I can make you childless! You are prettier than any other woman whom I know. I don’t think that I can find anyone more suitable than you.”
Shangguan Ning knew that Tang Shunian was not joking. He could truly threaten Jing Rui’s safety.
And that was not something that she would tolerate.
She and Jing Yichen could get injured, but she would not allow Jing Rui to get hurt. He was too young to know anything and needed their care and protection.
Shangguan Ning didn’t waste any more time talking about her child with him. She tried to suppress her anxiety and said in a cold voice, “When can I see my husband?”
Tang Shunian stayed silent for a long while. Then he said, “Since you insist, I can take you there. But I don’t want you to die there, otherwise I will suffer a big loss.”
Shangguan Ning was a bit surprised that he agreed so fast. Relieved, she said, “Isn’t it you who has my life in your hand? I won’t be able to live if you want me to die. And I won’t kill myself if you want me to live. After all, this is your underground kingdom. Can we go now?”
“Give me the 100 billion first. If you die, I can at least have the money. Not everything will be in vain, then.”
He had been a devoted, loving man a minute ago, and now he regarded her as nothing. Shangguan Ning felt quite nervous in the presence of this fickle man.
It seemed by his words that Jing Yichen was in a very dangerous place.
Anxious, she took out the phone and transferred the money to Tang Shunian’s account.

Tang Shunian felt that it was a good deal to gain so much money just for taking Shangguan Ning to Jing Yichen.
What was more, he had anyways planned to take Shangguan Ning to Jing Yichen. He must be in a mess right now and possibly in the middle of a session with those crazy, strong men.
If Shangguan Ning saw this scene, Jing Yichen might lose his last shred of self-respect. He was such an arrogant man who might not be able to live on if he was seen by his wife in this way.
Also, Shangguan Ning may find it disgusting enough for her to forget about this man.
As for Shangguan Ning’s son Jing Rui, Tang Shunian could kill him whenever he wanted to. He was not a threat to him and he did not care if that infant lived for a few more days.
Tang Shunian had aimed at Jing Zhongxiu, Jing Yichen and their vast properties. But now, he had another goal – Shangguan Ning.
She was a woman who could make him feel comfortable, someone he would not let go of so easily!
“Alright then, you can leave now. Someone will take you there. Don’t wander about, and don’t try to contact Jing Zhongxiu, otherwise you will die! I have strict rules for my underground kingdom and everyone should follow the rules. You are not an exception.”
Having said the words, Tang Shunian opened the hall gate and Shangguan Ning walked out.
The men standing outside showed great courtesy towards Shangguan Ning. She was the only woman who had been able to get close to Tang Shunian in the past few years. Tang Shunian had already instructed them that Shangguan Ning must not be injured, otherwise they would all die.
Shangguan Ning could tell their deferential attitude apart, but she did not care about it. These men would not help her no matter what, because they were Tang Shunian’s men.
All she wanted was to find Jing Yichen and escape this underground maze with him.
Shangguan Ning followed Tang Shunian’s men for a very long time. At some places, she felt a bit out of breath and dizzy. Due to the dim light, she could not see anything or remember the path.
After a long while, they finally came to a heavy stone gate.
Unexpectedly, this gate did not require any fingerprints for the entry. Anyone could enter there.
But none of the guides entered, only Shangguan Ning was allowed to go in.
Lu did not want Shangguan Ning to go in alone. She already knew that Jing Yichen must be in this cellar and she needed to get the man out, not to leave Shangguan Ning alone in the danger.
As the other men saw Lu trying to enter the gate, they tried to stop her. But within a few seconds, the six guides were all gone before they could even let out a scream, collapsing onto the floor.
Shangguan Ning was startled!
She threw a look at these six men and turned pale when she saw Lu’s poised face.
