Shangguan Ning was now used to seeing this hateful man these days, so she proficiently hung up her overcoat and was about to turn around to ask Lu Qing for help.
Jing Yiran was a shameless and crazy man and she didn’t want to spend any more second with this horrid person. There was no point in trying to beat him and lose her own life in the process. So Shangguan Ning went to find the person who could rescue her.

His voice trembled as he bellowed. “Shut up! I live for myself, not for him. I have a goal but he doesn’t. Get out of here, you know nothing. You are just bullshitting.”
Shangguan Ning had not intended to irritate Jing Yiran. But he had interfered with her life and brought her trouble. He even got her family involved.
What on earth did he do with those people who were so self-centred and evil?
Why must she become the bargaining chip when they had to make a deal and gain benefits!
If she wasn’t living a good life, she wouldn’t allow him to live a good life either.
“You think that you can change something when you get half of the inheritance? You are not going to be able to change anything!”

His handsome face looked twisted and veins popped out of his forehead. He said in a sinister voice, “What I hate most in my life is when someone thinks that I am less than him! If you don’t want to die now, you better shut up!”
Pressed against the wall, Shangguan Ning was almost strangled to death by his tight grip around the neck.
Shangguan Ning started to feel suffocation and dizzy. Without caring about anything more, she snatched a vase within her hand’s distance and smashed it upon his head.
With a loud sound of clattering, the vase banged against Jing Yiran’s head. He released his hands and Shangguan Ning was able to breathe again.
Both of them fell on the ground at the same time. Jing Yiran screamed in pain with hands over his head whilst Shangguan Ning struggled to breath with her hands on her chest, coughing at the same time.
Lu Qing had just come up to the 76th floor with a deck of material when he heard a loud noise. He followed the voices and entered Shangguan Ning’s office. Jing Yichen had warned him that Jing Yiran might try to hurt Shangguan Ning and that he should keep an eye on him.
If Shangguan Ning was hurt, not only Jing Yichen would get furious, even Jing Zhongxiu, the old President would get angry too.
The moment he entered the office, he saw those two lying on the floor. Jing Yiran’s head was bleeding. Shangguan Ning wasn’t hurt, but her face looked pale.
Lu Qing let out a sigh of relief. Then he picked up the phone and called the medical team of Jingsheng Enterprise.
