Jing Yichen didn’t care if Tang Yun hated him.
He had thought that he will always be able to tolerate Tang Yun however unreasonable she maybe, because he always regarded Tang Yun as the most important person to protect. He had never allowed himself or anyone else to hurt her.
He had wanted to make Tang Yun forget the shadow of the past and live happily.
But what Jing Yichen had found out was that only he was under the shadow of the past whilst Tang Yun was not affected at all.
Li Yong, who was in charge of her security in the USA had found out that Tang Yun didn’t lose her memory in the past ten years. It had been an easy thing to discover, because loopholes were everywhere and it didn’t take Li Yong much efforts to find out the truth. Tang Yun had always been completely normal and had never forgotten about what happened in the past.
All discoveries had led to one conclusion – Tang Yun was a complicated woman, beyond what Jing Yichen had anticipated. It was hard to understand her and she kept impacting Jing Yichen’s psychological defending line.
Jing Yichen had already started to suspect that Tang Yun hadn’t had a simple goal to get to know him at the very beginning.
Therefore, he was not going to let this woman ruin his life anymore.
“Mu Qing, get Zheng Jing here. Get everything she knows out of her. Tiger, remain here and tell me immediately when you hear something from Lee Duo.”
Tang Yun was still crying and cursing at the top of her voice. After Jing Yichen delivered the order, he turned away, refusing to spare her even one more look.
After Jing Yichen left, Mu Qing injected the drug of hypnotherapy into Tang Yun before carrying out the interrogation.
When Zheng Jing arrived, he brought Zheng Lun along with him. He would take Zheng Lun with him wherever he went, because he had wanted her to socialize with the outside world and opposite genders, because in this way, she would realize that she was simply dependent on her brother rather than in love with him.
But it seemed that this method hadn’t turned out to be so effective.
Zheng Lun was still very dependent on him and she would always tag along whenever he went out, even to the crime scene. She wasn’t a woman who liked going out otherwise.
Zheng Jing understood that what she wanted was to be with him. As long as he was with her, she would be assured.
Zheng Lun went to Zhao Anan. She was here often these days, because she had become interested in hanging out with Zhao Anan due to her open personality, although Zhao Anan tended to talk about things that made Zheng Lun flush.
In the skyscraper of Jingsheng Enterprise, Shangguan Ning was carefully reading through the data of the financial department of the enterprise whilst Lu was licking a lollipop happily. She didn’t disturb her work.
Shangguan Ning hadn’t been in a good mood, but as soon as she threw herself into work, she forgot about everything else and became calm and rational.
She didn’t resurface until her phone rang.
Her heart softened when she saw “husband” popping up on the phone screen.
Jing Yichen had saved the two characters for her. She had saved her number as “President” which was changed into “husband” after Jing Yichen had found out about it. He had asked her, “Husband comes first, then boss comes. How can you mix these two up?”
She picked up the phone and said “hello” softly.
“Take the special elevator and come down. I am waiting for you in the parking lot.” Jing Yichen sounded very charming on the phone, making Shangguan Ning’s heart miss a beat.
“I am working…”
“Baby, if you want me to come upstairs and bring you down, you can wait for me for a minute up there!”
Shangguan Ning paused and compromised. “Okay, I will tidy up and come down.”
She understood that Jing Yichen was not just talking. If she truly refused to go down, then he was definitely going up to carry her downstairs within one minute.
Shangguan Ning packed away the documents, turned off the computer and said to Lu, “Lu, I am going out, you don’t have to follow me today. You can go anywhere you want. But don’t eat too much candy. Go and have lunch with Uncle Lu, understand?”
Lu’s large and innocent eyes blinked as she nodded and said smilingly, “Okay! I will definitely eat more food and more candies too!”
Shangguan Ning didn’t give her any more advice. Lu Qing cared about Lu more than she did and he was going to keep an eye out for how much candy she ate.
She patted Lu’s head, put on the coat and went down.
Jing Yichen was not in his Aston Martin, but in the renovated black Volkswagen which was used to pick up Shangguan Ning.
Seeing Shangguan Ning coming out of the elevator, he went up and took the bag from her hand. He also took hold of her hand, leading her to the car.
Startled, Shangguan Ning said in panic, “Let go of me, what if someone sees us?”
Jing Yichen was unmoved. He was already trying very hard not to kiss her, and if holding hands was not allowed, he was definitely going to publicize their relationship right away.
“I am not committing a crime holding my wife’s hands.”
“Give the bag to me, I can hold it myself!”
If someone saw the President holding the bag for her, an explosion would occur in the enterprise the following day.
“It is totally reasonable for a man to hold the bag for his woman. I will not give it to you.”
Shangguan Ning couldn’t argue with him, so she kept praying inside her heart that she would not run into any colleague.
But what was feared, always appeared. As they reached the car and were about to get inside, Xu Feng, the Director of Media Department just returned from business and ran right into them.
Shangguan Ning got a bit anxious, but Jing Yichen was holding her hand and standing there in composure, showing no intention of hiding.
Xu Feng got startled for a second when he saw the President holding a light blue women’s leather bag and Shangguan Ning’s hand. He greeted Jing Yichen courteously, “Greeting, Mr. President!”
Then he greeted Shangguan Ning smilingly like usual. “Morning, Deputy President Shangguan!”
Jing Yichen nodded expressionlessly, as cold as always. Then, he opened the door and helped Shangguan Ning into the car.
Shangguan Ning hurriedly greeted Xu Feng with an embarrassed face. “Morning, Director Xu!”
Then she hurried into the car, daring not to look at Xu Fen again. She was worried that he was going to look at her with a different expression.
As a matter of fact, Shangguan Ning was panicking in vain. Xu Feng had been surprised for no more than a second. His chief, Deputy President Liang Fushi had already indicated to him that Shangguan Ning was the lady of the entire enterprise and that he must establish a good relationship with her.
