Chapter 296: Fury (Part Two)

Jing Yichen stiffened after hearing what Jing Yiran said.
He turned his head slowly in dread, only to see Shangguan Ning standing at the door. Her face was pale and her eyes held contempt.
When Jing Yichen saw her, his heart calmed down a bit. He asked softly, “What are you doing here, Ning?”
“Oh yeah? I am not allowed here? Am I breaking any laws by being here?”
She sounded very fierce, totally different from Shangguan Ning who tended to be gentle. Apparently, she was annoyed. Jing Yichen strode to her and wanted to take hold of her hands. But she retreated.
“It is not what you think, Ning, don’t leave!” Jing Yichen was a bit anxious. He somehow raised his voice and suddenly he was no longer calm, like his usual self.
“Why would I leave?”
Shangguan Ning looked up at him. She looked calm but sounded irritated. “I won’t leave before you give me a reasonable explanation. Some woman comes to the door and says that she is pregnant with my man’s child. Why would I leave before I know the truth or before I punch or kill someone?”
She had never expected that she would need to confront such a scene when she came to Family Jing.
She was getting increasingly irritated.
No wonder she was not asked to come along. His so-called “fiancée” was here yet again!
And this time, she came as a pregnant woman.
Shangguan Ning got so angry that her fingers trembled.
“Ning…” Jing Yichen came closer, hoping to catch hold of her hand. But Shangguan Ning pushed him off.
“You stay away from me for the moment.” Shangguan Ning walked into the spacious living room. “Before I understand what it is going on, you are not allowed to touch me!”
Jing Yichen followed her in and said softly, “Alright, alright, I won’t touch you, as long as you are not leaving.”
“Do I look so idiotic? What good will it do if I leave? Sparing the seat for someone else? Never! I won’t kill myself like my mother or leave impulsively like my mother-in-law when a mistress comes to the door with a baby. I want to live on so that I can drive the shameless woman to death.”
“You are indeed powerful. Jing Yiran told me that you have a girl soulmate and I didn’t believe him. But it turns out to be totally true. You follow her from home to abroad and then abroad to home, and now she has a baby?”
Jing Yichen was palpitating slightly. Sweat beads had formed on his forehead as he explained anxiously, “It is not my child. She is not my girl soulmate. I haven’t visited the USA during the past few months.”
Shangguan Ning threw him a cold look at hi,. She was feeling immensely sad. “Shut up! If that is not your baby, why is she here? The reason she is here is because you haven’t handled your relationship well enough. She thinks that she can turn to you when she gets pregnant. She is shameless but what about you? She saved your life but must you spend your entire life upon her?”
She had somehow lost rationality and apparently, she was venting her anger on him. Jing Yichen smiled bitterly.
It was reasonable that she was angry and could throw temper at him as she wished. As long as she didn’t leave from here. It was his fault and he was the cause.
He was so scared that she would leave him or do something stupid impulsively. He couldn’t even begin to think of the consequences.
He had been worried that Shangguan Ning would be angry, and sad, that’s why he hadn’t asked her to tag along. If he had known that she would come anyway, he would have brought her along with. In that way, he would at least be able to explain the entire thing to his wife well ahead of time.
Misunderstood and scolded by Shangguan Ning, Jing Yichen was not at all angry. He just looked at her in silence, accepting her anger.
He knew pretty well that Shangguan Ning believed him. Otherwise she would not have wasted time scolding him here and would have left immediately, judging from her personality.
She was angry because Tang Yun had been badgering him all the time.
She had always been affected by Tang Yun so much that she even cut off her beloved long hair.
Seeing her eyes filled with tears, Jing Yichen felt his heart aching violently.
He wanted to take her into his arms and tell her that she was his only one.
He had no room for anyone else apart from her and he was not willing to touch anyone except for her.
But he couldn’t do anything now and she didn’t want him to get close to her.
It was the first time for them to have such an argument after they got married. It was the first time for her to throw temper at him.
Suppressing the emotions inside his heart, Jing Yichen said to the Butler calmly, “Take Miss Tang away and anyone who lets her enter next time will disappear with her as well!”
The Butler agreed but was stopped by Shangguan Ning.
“Leaving? She has so much freedom?” Shangguan Ning’s white face was full of abnormal redness. Apparently, it was caused by anger.
“Seems that you favor her so much. Caring so much about her. Why are you making her leave as soon as I came here? Are you scared that I will eat her up?”
This was totally unreasonable. He was not favoring Tang Yun. How did his words get interpreted like this?”
She was too furious to understand his intentions properly.
“Ning, don’t!”– you made my heart ache so much….
Shangguan Ning ignored him totally. After she taught her man a lesson, it was time for her to give the woman a lesson! Humph, if she ever dared to come back and make trouble, she would not have a chance to leave the room in one piece.
She turned and walked towards Tang Yun. Seeing her exquisite face, she said coldly, “So you are pregnant?”
Tang Yun watched the scene when Jing Yichen was scolded by Shangguan Ning. Jing Yichen was such a cold and arrogant man, but he had totally lost himself in front of her and was willing to be scolded by her as she wished.
She felt extremely jealous inside her heart. Hearing Shangguan Ning’s question, she said without hesitation. “Of course, I am pregnant.”
“Oh, so who is the father?”
“Of course, it is my Brother Yichen.”
Tang Yun had just finished her words when a loud slapping sound arose in the living room.
Tang Yun screamed and took a few steps backwards. She almost fell to the ground but was saved by placing her hands upon the sofa.
She had been slapped hard on face by Shangguan Ning.
“Shangguan Ning, you dare to slap me!”
Shangguan Ning approached her and coldly said, “Someone cares about you, but I am sorry, I am not that person. Who is the father?”
“Brother Yich…”
Before she finished the words, another loud slap landed across her face. Shangguan Ning was being ruthless.
