Jing Yiran stretched out his hand to pat Lu’s long hair gently as he said with a smile, “It is okay, I am not hungry. As long as you are happy, I don’t care if I eat anything. I made the food for you.”
If he had been alone, he would not have spent so much time and energy upon making the dishes.
Cooking made him look less noble.
But, at this point, he found cooking a great deal of fun too, because no matter how terrible his cooking was, Lu would always enjoy it and would not waste even a morsel.
“If you like it, I can make food for you tomorrow, as well. My cooking skills will definitely get better tomorrow after today’s experience.”
It was just cooking. He was free so he was willing to do anything that made Lu happy.
He was going to adore and spoil his girl so she could be healthy.
A light smile hovered over Lu’s baby face and her eyes reflected joy. “Great, I will eat these dishes tomorrow again. I think you cook well and I will definitely save some for you tomorrow. I can’t let you starve.”
Because of her special body composition, she got hungry very easily. So eating made her feel satisfied. At the same time, if she saw anyone starving, she would not be happy. Especially if it was Jing Yiran.
She could tell how carefully Jing Yiran was taking care of her. She might not have said it out loud, but she was very grateful for what he had done for her.
She did not care much about herself. But Jing Yiran remembered even the smallest things about her. He took great care of her without being told, just like a stay at home man from a TV-series.
He was always patient in teaching her stuff, such as how a girl should not share a bed with a man, easily.
He had once heard about her sharing the same bed with some male killers at the camp without any taboos between them. She had been 17 years old at that time and knew nothing about men and women. But those male killers did not seem to have an interest in her and treated her as a rock, and that’s how she treated them back, as well.
At the camp, people did not differentiate on the basis of gender but on abilities. Gender did not matter.
She had always thought that sharing the same bed with men was very normal.
But Jing Yiran made her promise that apart from him, she should not share the bed with any other man.
That was not a difficult thing. She had followed his order and promised him that she would do what he asked her. Only then had he stopped frowning.
Later, Jing Yiran started to make many “No’s and Dont’s”, where he explained to her about how to behave like a normal girl.
She did lack the knowledge in this aspect, because her parents never taught her these things. Camps did not teach her how to be a girl, either. As an orphan, with the virus in her body, she cared about nothing.
Shangguan Ning had taught her a few things, but she had described them to the other Lu. So she had no idea what Shangguan Ning had told her.
Jing Yiran had stressed upon one point the most – never ever touch the sensitive part of a man!
She knew that men were weak in that part and that was to be used when she was killing a man. But she did not know that if the part was gripped, a man would be stimulated.
She had once gripped Jing Yiran’s manhood without any preamble and that left a deep impression on Jing Yiran who had to stress this point.
Of course, what Jing Yiran had told her was that she could touch it whenever she wanted as long as she was touching only him.
But Lu did not think that was a fun thing to hold. She gripped that thing to kill, not to play.
But she was aware that she lacked experience in various aspects and her view towards the world was different from that of others. So she nodded obediently and remembered everything that Jing Yiran told her.
Jing Yiran was changing when he was with her. So was she.
Jing Yiran had taught her how to care about him and she was learning. She might be slow but she did it because she really did care about him.
After thinking for a while, Lu gave the last bowl of soup to Jing Yiran and said, “Drink it!”
Jing Yiran got a bit startled and then realized her intentions. She wanted to spare a bowl for him, although she could have easily consumed it.
Good. His cultivation had started to work. She would not have known how to share this with him, earlier.
He smiled and said, “Feed me then.”
Lu looked at his hand and asked in confusion. “Did you hurt your hands while cooking?”
Jing Yiran almost passed out at these words!
But he was already used to Lu’s unexpected words, so he recovered fast and said, “That is one of the things a couple in a relationship would do. Feed each other! That helps increase affection and the love becomes deeper. Come on, feed me.”
Lu did not know if others were doing this, because she never noticed this kind of thing.
But Jing Yiran said so and he was always right about such matters. Also, feeding Jing Yiran might be troublesome but if it led to deeper affection, she was willing to do it.
When Jing Yiran had been badly hurt, she fed him at that time.
She picked up the spoon and the bowl, and started feeding him attentively.
Seeing her behave so obediently, Jing Yiran felt very proud.
His woman was very powerful outside home, but she was a good lady and behaved obediently at home.
