Shangguan Ning was still blushing badly when they reached home.
Jing Yichen picked her up and chuckled. “Baby, what are you blushing for? It is I, who has a problem, not you!”
Shangguan Ning pinched hard upon his waist and said furiously, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier about what we went to Mu Qing for… I feel so embarrassed!”
“What are you embarrassed about? I have some blood clots in the important organ, or some deterred sperms and so on. Your husband is so seriously sick that he can’t even be a real man. Mu Qing must be laughing at me right now in his office.”
Jing Yichen had become unhappy after hearing what Mu Qing said about his illness.
It was such a shame when a man who loved his wife so much and wanted to have kids, heard that he was “infertile.” His self-respect had drowned in the sea.
But Shangguan Ning had been blushing for almost one hour, like an overripe tomato.
Jing Yichen found it funny and endearing seeing her like this. He no longer felt dispirited inside his heart.
It happened again – he had just said a few words, and she started to flush again.
Shangguan Ning felt her cheeks burning hot. She said in a very shy and low voice, “Don’t say things like that. I know that you… have … no problem….”
“Even the doctor says that I have a problem. Don’t console me, I am a pitiful man who can’t even touch his wife…” Jing Yichen sounded quite sour as if he had just received a huge blow.
Shangguan Ning had never heard Jing Yichen speak in this tone. She really thought that he was disheartened by what happened today. After all, it was a matter of a man’s dignity and Jing Yichen, who was a legendary man, would find it tougher to accept it.
She didn’t want her beloved man to misunderstand her or get sad. So she kissed his lips and whispered, “Don’t talk nonsense, you even did… you know, last night. Shangguan Ning spoke in a low voice, especially the last few words that could almost not be heard. But Jing Yichen heard everything clearly. Her sweet voice excited him.
His wife had said that he was excellent!
He suddenly felt himself floating in the air with her praise.
He looked at her lowered eyes. Her charming words started to excite him that very instant.
Shangguan Ning was sitting on his thighs and they were only separated by a thin layer of clothes. She had her hands under his face and was staring at him with love in her eyes. It wouldn’t be normal if Jing Yichen was able to resist this.
He picked her up in his arms and walked straight to the bedroom.
Shangguan Ning protested with a flushed face. “Put me down, time for dinner…”
“I don’t want food. I want you.”
The room was filled with excitement and frenzied passion. The heart-striking melody bloomed so vividly that even the clouds became shy and the moon hid itself.
Shangguan Ning had wanted to ask him what injury had he received which caused this problem. She also wanted to know why he reacted so badly when Doctor Mu felt his wrist. But she was smothered by Jing Yichen’s kisses in no time.
When Shangguan Ning got up the following day, she was extremely tired. But the culprit was fresh and full of energy.
Seeing the red marks on her body, Shangguan Ning glared at him. “I suspect that you are not sick at all. Did you put on a performance in front of Mu Qing yesterday?”
Jing Yichen burst into laughter and said, “Mu Qing said that our marital life won’t get affected except that… we won’t get children that easily. I think that I should put in more effort to improve our chances.”
Shangguan Ning got very embarrassed whenever she thought of what happened at the hospital. She had never expected that she would visit the hospital one day with Jing Yichen because of infertility.
Seeing his wife blushing once again, Jing Yichen couldn’t resist laughing out loud. But he decided not to tease her and started to get dressed before she could say anything.
After the couple got dressed and finished breakfast, they went to the office together.
Jing Yichen had a meeting with several shareholders in the morning. Shangguan Ning was busy preparing for the material for the afternoon.
Lu came much earlier than Shangguan Ning. She must have driven away Jing Yiran who went to another floor in the morning of his own accord. Shangguan Ning saw him seated at Department of Finance for the entire morning and amusing the tedious Department of Finance.
Shangguan Ning couldn’t help but get worried. She frowned and asked Jing Yichen at lunchtime, “Is it fine to let him stay here all the time? Department of Finance is one of the most important places in the entire enterprise. What if he takes over. The entire enterprise will be in danger.”
Jing Yichen smiled as he opened the lid of the sour plum juice Shangguan Ning liked. He passed the bottle to her and said calmly, “It is a test for the Director of Finance. If she is a problem, we can just change her.”
