"What did Samuel say?"

Nicole wanted to clear her mind. After all, Daisy was assigned by Samuel. There was no need for
Nicole to hide the secret from her.

Daisy was stunned for a moment and asked with doubt, "Ms. Bush, do you mean this is Mr. Green's
decision?"

"Isn't that so?"

It sounded that Samuel had nothing to do with it.

"Assistant? Mrs. Green, no, Nicole, are you saying that I can be your assistant?"

"Not good?"

"Hello, I'm Nicole Bush!"

They sat down. Cara poured a cup of tea for Pedro.

"Thank you."

Pedro politely nodded at Cara.



Nicole looked at Pedro. He seemed to be sensible and decisive. She asked, "Pedro, right? I have a
question for you. I wonder if you can give me a satisfactory answer."

"Ms. Bush, just say it."

"Why sign a contract with our company? As far as I know, Zayn have many resources. There is no
need for him to work for any filmmaking company. He is a popular star. Any particular reason for
signing with us?"

Nicole asked directly.

Pedro smiled as if he knew that Nicole would ask the question, "Ms. Bush, you are right. Zayn does not

She pondered for a moment and asked, "What is Zayn's requirement for us?"

"None."

Nicole frowned again.

"I need to think about it. Pedro, do you mind?"

"Of course not. If Ms. Bush wants to sign the contract, just call me at any time. I've drawn up the
contract. Do you want to take a look first?"

"No need for now."

Nicole refused.

This was a good thing, but too good to be true. Nicole was especially cautious.

After Pedro left, Nicole sat in her chair, trying to figure out what was going on.

Cara looked at her and said, "Nicole, is it Mr. Green's idea? They didn't give us any reason. I don't think

"Ashley, do you know Zayn?"

"The movie star Zayn?"

"So he wants to sign the contract with us for your sake?"
