Chapter 1604 Let Them Take Care Of It

Nicole suddenly didn’t know what to do.

And Olivia couldn’t face herself anymore.

She couldn’t just ignore what Jacob did.

But getting divorce was too painful for her. And to be honest, she didn’t want to.

Davon dragged Nicole out of the room as Olivia was feeling bad.

“Davon, your words are too strong.”

Davon knew how close Nicole and Olivia were. But no one should get involved in such things.

“Nicole, I was afraid that you two might drift away if Olivia really gets divorced.”

“How come?”

Davon explained, “An outsider shouldn’t put his nose into other people’s marriage. Now, even Olivia
herself didn’t know exactly whether she should get a divorce and she actually didn’t want a divorce. But
if they divorced because of you, do you think Olivia will blame you when she comes to her senses?
Also, you and Samuel are individuals. Samuel and Jacob are like brothers for so many years. No
matter how horrible Jacob is, he is his brother. I know how you threatened Samuel. He made you a
promise not because he thinks you are right. It was because he loves you and spoils you. But don’t
waste his affections for you. And don’t ever say things like that anymore.”

“I know.”

Nicole bowed her head like a misbehaving child. She felt terrible for what she did.

“Go back to your room. Leave Olivia alone so she can think it straight.”

Nicole nodded.



When she went back to the room, Samuel was still busy with his work. Seeing that Nicole looked quite
down, he had to put down his work.

“What? Who did this to you? Tell me. I’ll make you feel much better.”

Nicole felt guilty when Samuel still cared about her so much even though he was exhausted.

“Honey, did I ignore your feelings when I told you to cut Jacob off and forced you to make Jacob get
divorced?”

Thinking of what Davon said, Nicole felt regretful.

Samuel paused a little and then grabbed Nicole’s hand.

He asked, “What did they tell you?”

“Nothing. It’s just that I feel bad for making you do what I want. And Jacob to you is like Olivia to me. If
you want me not to see Olivia anymore because of Jacob, I won’t accept it.”

Samuel was relieved to hear that.

He held Nicole in his arms and whispered, “I will persuade him to divorce with Olivia. Not because of
what you said. It’s because I really think there is a big problem in his marriage and he did so something
wrong. But it might be hard if you don’t want me to see him as my brother. He has helped me all these
years and we fought together on the battlefield. I can trust my life with him and I can never stop
contacting her just because he cheated on his wife.”

“You were so obedient at that time. I thought you would cut him off.”

“That was because I was afraid you would get mad. You’ve already worried a lot about Olivia. If I tell
you that I will still see him, you will feel terrible, right? If your own husband doesn’t support you, you



will.”

Nicole suddenly understood what he said.

“Well well well! You didn’t do what you said, huh? You were fooling me!”

Nicole wanted to punch him but her fists were grabbed by Samuel.

He laughed, “how could I dare to fool you? I was just trying to smooth things over. We are married and
this is our life. We don’t need to make our life a mess for other’s business. If I can solve this without
causing any damage, it’s okay to do that.”

But he is not a good husband. So what do you say?”

“I don’t wanna get involved anymore. Let them handle it. My cousin is right, their marriage is none of
my business.”
