Chapter 1812 Don&##x27;t You Feel Anything For Me At All?

"Lucas, forget it."

Yasmeen grabbed Lucas's arm.

Looking at Yasmeen's worried look, a hint of tenderness crossed Lucas' eyes and he whispered, "I
can't just let it go. This is the kidney I found for you, and no one has the right o take it away. Just wait
for me to come back."

"I'm coming with you."

Yasmeen was worried and scared. She knew Lucas was capable, but she just couldn't help but worry
about him.

If it was before, Lucas would never have refused. But Yasmeen's health was poor now, even though
she was trying to hide it.

Lucas stroked her head and whispered, "Listen to me! Just wait here for me to come back."

When he finished, Yasmeen knew what his decision was. A flash of disappointment crossed her eyes.

She hadn't been able to keep up with Lucas, and she wasn't sure if she was considered a burden to
Lucas now. But Yasmeen knew that if she had the chance to choose again, she would still make the
same choice without hesitation. Because loving him had become a habit for her.

"Okay, you need to be safe. I'll wait for you to come back."

Yasmeen did not continue to plead with him.

Since Lucas didn't think it was appropriate for her to go with him, she would wait here quietly, even if

Lucas knew that Yasmeen was feeling bad, but at this time, he had to be more sensible. Because he

That person hastily withdrew the dagger and looked at Joseph with a frown, "Do you want to die? If I
don't hold it steady, you'll get your throat slit by me."

"I don’t care. What's the difference between what I'm doing now and being dead?"

Joseph's eyes were deadly silent and depressing.

That person bit her lower lip and looked at Joseph as if she had a lot to say, but finally stopped.

She pulled off her hood, revealing her long, wavy brown hair, and her blue eyes seemed to carry a hint

Ignoring her beauty, Joseph went behind his desk, pulled open a drawer and pulled out a boat ticket,

The woman had mixed emotions in her eyes. She looked at Joseph, trying to see an ounce of affection

"Yes."



"If you don't, why are you helping me? Just because I saved your life once? Joseph, I took the kidney

Joseph's eyes went colder.

The woman had always thought Joseph was gentle and had never even seen him lose his temper with

The woman clutched the case in her hands, gave Joseph one last look, and then jumped straight out of
the window.

Joseph slumped into the chair after the woman had gone, while his palms and back were wet with

This was the first time he had hurt his family. Although Yasmeen was not yet considered one of the
Green Family, she was going to marry Lucas after all.

Joseph's eyes deepened. Never a smoker, he actually took out a cigarette and lit it. He took two puffs
and choked and coughed.

He put the cigarette down. The nicotine gave him a brief moment of recovery. He could only pick up the

"I need a kidney, exactly the same as I asked for last time. Whatever the price, I want it. Move fast!"

The man from the black market was stunned for a moment, but said nothing and simply quoted a
number. Joseph hung up the phone and then gave the man the money.

After doing this, he suddenly felt someone staring at him from behind.

"Who?"

Joseph suddenly turned around and saw Lucas standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. He
didn't know how long he had stayed, or how much he had heard. He just stood there in the shadows of
the floor-to-ceiling window, but the look in his eyes made Joseph feel burned.

"When did you get back? And why didn't you make a sound?"

Joseph was a little apprehensive but tried desperately to suppress it. He poured a glass of water and
drank it, but still felt unable to face Lucas's gaze.

Lucas took it all in and slowly stepped out of the shadows.

He had rarely looked at Joseph so seriously.

As he grew older, he and Joseph actually looked more and more alike, and some people believed them
when they went out and said they were twins.

Lucas had never imagined that his brother would actually do such a thing.
