Chapter 1809 Falling in Love With You Is the Silliest Thing I Have Ever Done

“Ouch, who is it?”

Patrick was instantly a little irritated. When he turned back and saw Ashley standing behind him, he

“Mom, I’ll become a fool if you beat me like this.”

injury.

she should have at this time. She just asked gently, “May I take a look at the wound on your back?”

She knew best what kind of person Patrick was and how much he cared for herself. So, she was
worried when she learnt that Lucas went to her father alone. However, how come she did not pay
attention to Lucas’s injury at first?

She was with the grievance and sad but wasn’t Lucas the most important in her heart?

Kindness and love were nothing compared to Lucas.

However, she had dwelt on this issue and forgotten Lucas’s injury. How could she do that?

Seeing Yasmeen’s red eyes that kept staring at his back, Lucas eventually sighed and asked, “Are you
blaming yourself?”

“Yes.”

Yasmeen did not retort and her voice was a little choked up.

Lucas held her hand and let her sit on his lap. He stroked her long hair and spoke in a low voice, “Your
mood now is the same as the mood when I learnt that you donated a kidney for me. So, is there any
point for us to consider kindness and love between us?”

“No.”

Yasmeen could not help but embrace Lucas’s neck. Seeing the dark circles under his eyes, she
thought of Patrick’s words and could not help but ask, “Are we still breaking up?”



“It depends on you.”

Lucas’s lips curled slightly.

said something that you might want to listen to.”

used to you chasing me. I don’t feel good when I don’t see you and will guess if you’re sick or falling for
someone else and will you be so obsessed with him too. I’ll think about a lot of things, definitely not as
calm as I seem.”

don’t need to worry about me falling for someone else, because loving someone is too taxing and tiring.
Falling for you alone already makes me exhausted, how will I have the time and energy to fall for



someone else? Also, I, Yasmeen Shaw have always been a woman who will be loyal to my spouse
