Chapter 1730 How Could She Leave the Matter Alone

It was so hard to persuade someone to change his mind.

Lucas wasn't good at this, yet he didn't want to hurt her either. He gently patted her shoulder and

He drew a few pieces of tissue paper, handed them to her, and whispered, "Michele, can you leave this
matter alone?"

stay here and take care of you."

"Yes."

She had expected him to ask many questions, but he suddenly fell silent.

He waited for a while before saying, "There is no internet and phone line here, so it may be hard upon
you for the next few days."

After saying that, he got up and went upstairs.

He found some A4 paper and a pencil, then drew on it casually. He drew Yasmeen’s face without
realizing it.

When he knew he was actually so talented in drawing, he was stunned.

Looking at the lifelike portrait on the paper, Lucas smiled and recalled the scene when Yasmeen pulled
his trousers down.

He wondered if she would still be so fierce now.

As he thought this, there was a sudden change in a part of his body.

His face suddenly turned a little red, and he quickly threw all his drawing paper and pencils into the
drawer. He lay down on the bed, stared at the ceiling and he was lost in thought for the first time when
thinking about a woman.

It was strange as he hadn't thought that much about her before. How come he had so many more
thoughts after staying together and kissing her twice?

Was it because she now belonged to him, so he thought about her all the time?

The more he thought about it, the more he thought it was reasonable.

Her figure was quite good actually.

His body became hotter as he kept thinking about it. Suddenly something came out of his nose, and he
hurriedly went to the bathroom to wash up.

In the evening, there was a delicious aroma from downstairs. He hurriedly got up and walked down. As
he saw Michele cooking with her apron, he smiled and said, "I'm blessed these days."



"Lucas, go and wash your hands, food will be ready in a moment. There's just one bowl of soup left, it'll
be ready soon."

"Okay."

He went to the bathroom to rinse his hands. When he came back again, the meal was ready.

Looking at the four tasty dishes and soup on the table, he suddenly thought whether if Yasmeen had
returned yet, and where she was eating now.

She had never cooked, and she only ordered takeaway all her life. She cooked for him once and it was
awful.

"Lucas, what are you thinking about? It's time to eat."

"Oh, okay."

He smiled, took the bowl, and ate it.

Meanwhile, Yasmeen was trapped at the ferry.

People were chasing her everywhere, including killers and people from the military. Her men had also
found out that a time bomb had been installed under the car she had parked at the hospital, which
meant that if she had left in the car at that moment, she would have inevitably died and would have
implicated innocent people.
