"Oh..."

Phoenix was caught off guard and her tongue was almost bitten. But Davon didn't allow her to resist
but kissed her to dizzy.

By the time she reacted, the kiss was over.

Phoenix pushed him away, "You know you're sick, do you? I don't think you're a qualified doctor!"

After she finished speaking, she left angrily. But it looked like she was escaping from him.

Looking at her back, Davon smirked.

After coming out of the room, Phoenix breathed heavily.

In just a few days, Davon had kissed her several times. Although they were married, she still couldn't

Her lips hurt, and maybe they were swollen.

Phoenix cursed darkly and quickly returned to her room. She was right. They were swollen.

Davon was in a good mood. He called Mark and Emory to explain the situation and ask for leave.

"Why? Davon, what are you doing?"

Mark was stunned.

Davon said in a smiling tone, "Uncle Mark, I'm injured."

"Is it serious? Come back. I'll send you back to rest."

Davon was somewhat stunned. He stopped Mark, "Inez is here."

your location!"

Davon hung up immediately.

Phoenix had no idea what Davon was thinking about. She closed the door and didn't want to go out

Laurence was surprised to hear that Nicole wanted him to go back, but he soon packed. When he was
leaving, he found that Cara had also packed and would go back to Seapolis City with him.

For the past half a month, they had trained every day. He had witnessed Cara turn from a weak girl to a
female warrior who was able to defend. He couldn't tell what this feeling was like.

Her skin had turned into wheat, and her gazes were much sharper. The moment she saw Laurence,
she smiled.

"Are you coming back too?"

"Yes."

Laurence wasn't voluble, but his beautiful blue eyes attracted Cara so much.

It seemed he was calm no matter what he had gone through. She could never learn such a skill.

"Mrs. Green is back. Ernesto asked me to take care of her."

"Okay."

Laurence was still not talkative.



Cara was nervous.

She had known him for a long time, but he was always so quiet. Since Adela's parents did that, he just
said a few sentences to her. They hardly talked.

Cara suddenly felt that she was pathetic.

She had many good men to choose from. But why did she have a crush on such a goon?

She lowered her head but only saw a pair of slender hands in front of her. Before she could react, her
luggage was dragged away.

"Follow me."

Laurence said in a low voice. Then he walked out before her.

Cara looked at her empty hand, and then quickened her steps to follow him.

She was not as tall as Laurence. Laurence could stride farther than her because of his long legs. So
she could only trot all the way to follow him. She felt somewhat uncomfortable.

But suddenly Laurence stopped. Cara didn't notice it and got her face hit against his back, her nose
twitched. She was somewhat aggrieved.

"What's the matter with you? Please tell me before you want to stop. Even if I'm not pretty, what if my
nose is crooked? Will you make it up for me?"

Seeing Cara's wrinkled brows and almost red nose, Laurence was stunned that it really hurt. He
squatted down in front of Cara and said calmly, "Up."



"What?"

Cara's mind was spinning with confusion.

Up?

Where?

In front of her was Laurence's back, which looked broad and safe.

Was that what she thought?

"You mean on your back?"

"Come on."

Laurence said in a low voice, but it was enough to tell Cara that she was right. She grinned, hesitated
for a while, and then climbed onto Laurence's back.

Cara's weight was not a big deal for Laurence. After Cara was on, he walked forward steadily, with one
hand dragging the luggage and the other carrying Cara's butt.

Cara could feel his hand was burning hot as if it could make her shy even though it was out of her
pants, and her face was also hot.

Laurence's body smelled good. It was clean and refreshing, like bath gel, but she didn't know the detail.

Her face was against Laurence's back, the scorching temperature instantly stunning Laurence for a
while. He got rigid for a while and soon turned relaxed.

Cara's warm breath was lingering by on his back, which warmed Laurence. He held Cara more tightly,
making Cara exclaiming. She held her hand on her mouth at once, with her face hot. Laurence



smirked, his eyes glittering.

Did he do it on purpose?

Cara's heart beat rather fast. Such a dull, quiet man wouldn't flirt with her. So he definitely didn't mean
it.

But Laurence didn't care about what Cara thought. He realized he flipped again after such a long time.

The training had made Cara's skin tanned, but more elastic. Didn't she like him? Why did she scream
for just a touch? What if they got married?

Married. At the thought of the word, Laurence felt something complicated.

Finally, his feelings for that girl faded away as time went by.

He knew exactly that he would never get over Adela, but he also realized that in his mind was another
girl now.

For people who were still alive, they needed to keep going.

This was what Nicole said to him before he left.

He had thought that it would take him a long time to open up, but his mind was gradually filled with the
unexpected girl.

The helicopter was right in front of them. Seeing the pilot, Cara got anxious.

"Put me down."

Cara struggled, but Laurence said coldly, "Don't move."



"No. It's awkward if they see us like this."

Cara kept struggling, but soon she found that Laurence's voice changed.

"You do not think of me as a man, do you? If you keep struggling, I'm afraid something dangerous will
happen."

Laurence quickly, "Captain Kent, Mrs. Green asked me to pick you up."

Laurence got on the helicopter with Cara on his back.

Cara hurriedly jumped down, feeling she was burning all over.

Laurence did not make any promises to her. He had never said anything beautiful to her, or anything
indicating he wanted her to be his girlfriend. So what he had said just now did shock Cara.

Cara tried to stay away from him. But this annoyed Laurence. He put the luggage on the shelf beside
him, then turned around and sat by her. Cara instantly smelt the clean aroma emanating from him.

She paused for a moment.

There were other seats around. But why did Laurence sit by her?

Cara did not dare to ask him. She only turned away, trying to enjoy the scenery outside. But she
couldn't focus on it at all.

Suddenly, his head leaned against her shoulder, and his faint voice came.

"I'm sleepy. Give me your shoulder."
