“Who is that?”

Nicole asked out of curiosity.

Samuel saw Phoenix’s number on the phone and laughed, “Is it called telepathy?”

“The telepathy between you and her?”

Samuel hurried to explain hearing what Nicole said.

“Stop it. She’s my sister only. I mean the telepathy between Davon and her.”

“It seems you have a strong survival instinct.”

Samuel hurried to give Nicole the phone.

“What?”

“Answer the call. I have nothing to talk with her.”

“Nope, she’s not calling me.”

Nicole refused and gave the phone back.

Samuel was embarrassed and had to answer it.

“Phoenix, what’s going on?”

“Mr. Green, it is horrifying.”

Phoenix said in an elusive and nervous tone and frightened Nicole.



“What happened? Take it easy. How is it horrifying?”

Nicole’s words calmed Phoenix down and he said hurriedly, “Nicole, someone sends me a birthday gift.
It’s exactly what I want, but only Davon knows what I like. So, don’t you think it’s his ghost?”

“Have you lost your mind writing your book? There’s no ghosts in the world.”

Nicole blamed her with a smile.

Phoenix heard and hurried to say, “Yeah, if true, the ghost will come into my dream, and we must have
met already.”

Her voice was filled with a tinge of sorrow.

Nicole felt sad and wanted to tell her the truth, but nobody knew whether there was someone watching
them all the time.

Samuel muffled, “Go out to refresh your mind if you are in a bad mood. Nicole and I now live in the
Country F, your hometown. Come back and your elder brother misses you.”

Phoenix finally realized she was the princess of the country, and she had to say, “Fine, I have finished
my work and it is okay to visit my bro. I don’t know if he is married. I got to talk with him.”

Samuel did not say anything more since she had agreed.

“Well, book an ticket and come back. We are waiting for you.”

Then the phone was hung off.

Nicole really envied Samuel’s prudence, and their private plane took off eventually.

“Well, how about Tim and Evelyn if we leave?”



Nicole then thought about the couple.

Samuel stroked his head and said, “You have been worrying woo much. They disappear after going
out. Why don’t they worry about you?”

“Because you stay with me.”

Nicole’s reply really pleased Samuel.

“No worries. Evelyn will be helped by her dad secretly, so she can reach the Country F.”

“They go to the country as well?”

It was out of Nicole’s expectation.

Samuel laughed, “Don’t you forget Laurence and Lucas are still on the ship of her family?”

“I think Evelyn just asks her staff to escort them.”

“They are not ordinary people. They should be specifically escorted, and although Tim looks cruel, he
has killed Martin, so Evelyn must be worried he may feel uncomfortable. She hopes he will go out for
relaxation. Given the same route, Evelyn will be bound to take Tim to the country.”

Whatever Samuel said, Nicole agreed with him.

They chatted for a while, and the plane would land.

Precisely, the two countries were not far away with each other, but the customs formality was complex.
They took the private plane, so Leo reached at the airport before the schedule.

To his surprise, it was Samuel and Nicole when the two people got off.



“Why didn’t you inform me before you arrive? I thought it would be Steven.”

“It is convenient to take his private plane.”

Samuel answered.

Leo knew they have something important, and he naturally asked his fellow to drive his car, and he
drove for Samuel and Nicole.

Samuel felt enjoyable to let the king drive the car for him and his wife.

“Will your subjects feel unhappy as they witness you drive for us?”

“No, it is just a family party without rigid rules.”

Leo became more mature during the long time. He looked at Nicole and Samuel and asked in a low
tone, “Do you come here for my brother’s business?”

“Correct, has he got the new identity?”

“Yes, no worries.”

Leo’s words soothed Nicole.

“Fine, when can we see him? Phoenix will come soon. I think he can surely hold a family party tonight.
And we don’t know when Tim and his wife will come.”

It had been a long time since they last gathered together. It felt good.

Leo turned happier hearing that Phoenix would come.

“Then I should inform my brother and let him get prepared.”



“Come on, the gift sent by your brother instead frightened her.”

“What?”

Leo was confused.

Nicole told him how Phoenix thought there was a ghost, and it made Leo burst into laughter.

The atmosphere inside the car was harmonious and warm, which pleased Samuel.

But for Nicole, he must have been a lonely old man without any relative.

Now he seemed more amiable, and he had got more friends and got a family. He enjoyed the
tenderness and attachment just hearing when they talked.

The car ran quickly to the palace.

Leo arranged rooms for both of them, and Davon also came.

“Nicole!”

Davon became thinner during the long time, but still looked healthy.

Nicole knew Davon was alive, but the gushing blood was really terrible. His survival sounded like a
narrow escape from the death. As a result, Nicole couldn’t help rushing to hug him when she saw his
energetic look before her.

“I miss you so much, Davon.”

She cried and tried to control her tears.



Samuel was a bit unhappy, but he repressed his anger as he knew Davon was Nicole’s trustworthy
friend.

Tears could also be seen in Davon’s eyes.

“I miss you, too. How wonderful that we can stay with each other again.”

Then, a familiar voice sounded outside.

“And us!”
