Chapter 1102 You Seem Complacent

"Lucas, are you trying to console me?"

Nicole asked.

"Or what?"

Lucas felt that Nicole was not smart because she had been spoiled by Samuel. It was not necessary to

Nicole was despised again.

"I'm going to sleep. You go on yourself."

"What about Mommy?"

"She's in her room. I guess she might be angry with my brother."

Zoe tattled.

Joseph smiled and felt great when Zoe screwed Lucas.

Samuel was surprised.

"Lucas made Nicole angry? Why?"

"Who knows."

Zoe shrugged.

Samuel hurriedly put down Zoe and walked towards the bedroom on the second floor.

"Zoe, are you having a problem with Lucas recently?" Joseph asked.

"Yes."

Zoe made no secret of it.

"What is it?"

Joseph was astonished.



Zoe whispered, "He never takes me when he goes out for fun. I was in poor health before. Now I'm in
the pink, but he still doesn't take me. You think I don't know you and Lucas went abroad, don't you?
That's too much! I can't imagine that both of you don't want to spend time with me."

The more Zoe said, the angrier she became.

Zoe was depressed.

"We went abroad for business, not for fun."

"Okay. You all go out to do business. I go out to have fun. Anyway, you're geniuses. I'm a foodie. You
are always right."

Zoe was not angry, but her words made Joseph guilty.

"Zoe, I will take you out next time, okay?"

"We will see about that."

Zoe was not interested now.

Joseph thought that she was angry and explained, "I did go abroad for business. Are you going to treat
me like Lucas?"

"No."

"Why did you tattle Lucas and not do this to me?"

Joseph felt that Zoe liked him and depended on him. It felt like a connection between family members,

So Joseph believed that he would protect Zoe for the rest of his life and she could live a better life than
anyone else. He would be her brother and greatest shield.

Zoe did not know what Joseph was thinking right now, but when she could feel that Joseph was in a
good temper, she also felt great.

"Joseph, do you think Daddy will punish Lucas?"

"No."

Joseph smiled and patted her head dotingly. He smiled and said, "When I become a medical expert, I
will develop a medicine to minimize the rejection in your body."

Although Zoe's transplant operation was successful, she had to take rejection drugs all year round. It
was torture for Zoe.

Gradually, Joseph found out his goal in medicine and began to work harder.

Zoe was touched after hearing this.

eyesight. Health is very important."

Zoe spoke seriously.

Joseph paused, then nodded, "Alright, I'll try my best."

"Then let's continue playing."

Zoe pulled Joseph's hand and played the game.



Samuel watched this scene upstairs and couldn't help but look at his daughter with new eyes.

He walked forward. When he was about to pick up Nicole, he noticed some noise from the door. He
paused and turned around. Lucas stood at the door, looking at him coldly.

"What's wrong?"

"It seems that I irritated Mommy."

Lucas frowned and said that.

"What's that?"

Samuel turned around and sat down, letting Lucas come in and sit down opposite him.

"What's going on?"



"Nothing much. She felt despised."

Lucas told Samuel that Nicole was going to play with him but he said something bad to Nicole.

Samuel pursed his lips with dissatisfaction.

"Lucas, you seem to be complacent."

"Alright, I do. I was wrong. I will try my best to do what I can do from now on."

Lucas' attitude was very good. This surprised Samuel.

"Did you see a psychologist after you came back last time?"

Samuel still remembered Lucas' expression after that shot.

Lucas tensed up, and then whispered, "No, I don't want to go."

"Why not? Lucas, it doesn't mean that you have a problem. Everyone will have a terrible impression
when they shot for the first time. You have to receive psychological counseling."

Samuel frowned.

Lucas struggled and whispered, "I don't want to do that. I went there once, but I felt hypnotized. The

father.

A thrill passed all over Samuel.

"Lucas, do you want Uncle Blair to do your psychological counseling?"

The psychological counseling in the compound was for the military, so Lucas probably wasn't used to it.
Samuel believed that it would be better to find someone he knew to do this.

Although Lucas still rejected him, he paused for a moment when he reminded Blair. Then Lucas said,
"Can Maddie keep me company?"

"Alright, I'll ask her."

Samuel did not give him an accurate answer, but he knew that Lucas had accepted his proposal.

He did not dare to delay and called Blair in hurry.

he would make an appointment with Lucas tomorrow.

When the time was fixed, Lucas said something to Samuel and left.



Nicole woke up when Lucas left the room.

"Lucas will be fine, right?"

Nicole's voice was not loud, but it was enough for Samuel to hear it.

He turned around and saw that Nicole was not asleep. He knew that Nicole had already woken
up.
