Chapter 1553 You Really Don’t Wanna Live Anymore

Samuel was not happy to see this.

Morgan had been standing by and she immediately came forward to check out Aiden’s condition even
though her face went pale at this situation.

Nicole didn’t see clearly what exactly Morgan did to him because she was moving so fast. She could
only see Morgan pull out a white bug, put it into Aiden’s mouth and force him to swallow it.

Not long after, Aiden stopped twisting but he was still sweating so hard that it looked like he was
drowning.

Though no one said anything, Aiden knew Morgan saved him. If Samuel didn’t tell her to do that,
Morgan wouldn’t give a crap about him. So this time, he hastily admitted, “Fernanda and I grew up
together. Technically, we’re not biological siblings. We use that as an undercover. We are actually
orphans and we were adopted when we were young.”

Speaking of that, he was kind of sad.

“When we were adopted, we were just little children. People at the orphanage didn’t treat us well and
suddenly we were taken to a big house and we could finally have something nice like great food and
even pretty clothes. We were overwhelmed by joy. Meanwhile, we were not the only children who were
adopted. There were a lot of other children and some people started to taught us things. For us, this
was like a dream come true and none of us wanted to go back to our old life. But after a year, as we
adapted to this lifestyle, we found out the children around us started to disappear.”

Aiden tried very hard to memorize the details.

“Fernanda was the youngest child but we were assigned as a team and taken to the Seapolis City. At
first, we were thrilled about that. We didn’t know what was going to happen. Before we left, we saw the



one who adopted us.”

“What was he like?”

Samuel knew that was the key point.

Aiden shook his head and said, “I don’t know. He was wearing a mask and we couldn’t see clearly. But
his voice was hoarse so he couldn’t be young. He had someone take out a jar and he told us it was
nourishment. We drank it as he said. Who would know it would make our lives so miserable?”

Aiden laughed bitterly.

“I remember how terrified Fernanda was when she saw that bug but she was still forced to drink the
eggs. It was disgusting but didn’t cause any other discomfort. But when she fell for Tim and wanted to
be with him, she started to do things behind master’s back and even made her own decisions, which
turned out to be…”

Aiden couldn’t say more. He face suddenly went pale like a dead man but his eyes were filled with
terror.

Nicole knew about Fernanda’s death but she didn’t know how exactly she died. However, now she had
a guess after seeing the look on Aiden’s face.

“So your so-called master killed her?”

“Yes, the bug inside her body did the job. I don’t know when or how master planted bugs in Fernanda’s
body, but she died tragically. To him, our lives don’t matter at all. We’re nothing but his properties. After
so many years, we still have to take orders from him and we get to be regular people only when there’s
no orders. A lot of people died not just only because they betrayed master. That is why I’m so scared.”

Aiden freaked out and then put his hands in his pockets.



“Who doesn’t want a normal and comfortable life? I actually had a girlfriend and we were about to get
married. But they found out and killed her when she was pregnant with our baby. At that point, I finally
realized that I don’t have a choice at all. And I’m not gay! I’m born straight! I have to be like that only
because I need to get information from those people! But nobody cares about how I feel. They only
want results and they want me to get things done no matter how they are done. And then I just simply
don’t care whether I’m sleeping with a man or a woman. What’s the difference? I’m destined to be
alone. So it doesn’t matter. When Fernanda died, I know I might be the next.”

Samuel didn’t want to interrupt since Aiden was so emotional. But they had no time.

“Just tell me about what happened to the Bell family 8 years ago. Who is Nick? Don’t act like you don’t
know anything.”

Aiden froze when he heard Nick’s name and he bowed his head immediately.

“I really don’t know.”

“And you really don’t wanna live anymore.”

Samuel was running out of patience. He gave Morgan a look and she walked towards Aiden, which
scared the hell out of him.

“No! Don’t kill me! I really don’t know anything! Nick is not like us, he’s not on our level. My level is not
high enough to help me get to know who he is. Eight years ago, it was he who came to me out of blue
and asked me to find an opportunity to let Dylan’s father know about the ship route of the Mason family.
My job was to let them know this through Dylan’s friend. I know nothing else!”

Aiden was trembling hard and seemed to be telling the truth. And that friend of Dylan must be the rich
kid who was fooling around with him at that time.



“What’s the name of that friend of Dylan? How did you tell him about the ship route of the Mason
family?”

“I don’t remember his name. He’s gay so I just need to sleep with him. Back then, there were pirates
who would rob ships and steal all the cargos. So I just mentioned that the Mason family happened to
have professional ship routes. That was how it was done.”

Nicole felt kind of lost at his words.
