Chapter 1632 Because She’s Alone

Davon and Morgan were silent as they knew the relationship between Nicole and Cara. However, Cara
was the lead suspect now.

Nicole was extremely upset and said, “Clean up this place and don’t leak out what had happened here.
Zayn will be married soon and it will cause some panic if news of what happened here leaked out.”

“I understand,” Morgan said and started to direct some people to clean up the place.

Nicole and Davon proceeded outside and remained very troubled.

“Nicole, what’s on your mind?”

“I want to take Laurence away,” Nicole said.

It was obvious that the target was Laurence. If Laurence remained here, there was no telling what
would happen during Zayn’s wedding banquet.

Zayn was the head of state, and his wedding would attract the attention of the entire country. Other
countries would also be observing his wedding. If anything happened during his wedding, then F
country would become a laughing stock.

Samuel was not around so Nicole had to take care of Evelyn and Phoenix. She must not let any harm
come to her loved ones.

Everyone would be gathered together during Zayn’s wedding and that would give the enemy the
chance to take out everyone with one blow. That would be a tragedy…

Nicole shuddered at the thought of that.



It was obvious that Davon also shared the same concern when he said, “I will inform Zayn to increase
the level of security. Phoenix and Evelyn could not leave. Everyone came for Zayn’s wedding. If they
left at this moment, it would affect Zayn’s mood and also would not look good.”

Nicole nodded in agreement.

She had thought of what Davon said. Now the most important consideration was how to protect all of
them. Nicole and Davon went back to the hall with heavy hearts.

Tony noticed their troubled looks and asked curiously, “What happened to both of you? Where did you
go?”

Nicole kept quiet while Davon paused momentarily before grabbing Tony by the collar and dragged him
over.

“Come with me, I have something to ask you,” Davon demanded.

“Woah, woah, woah, what’s the matter? Can’t you speak without being so rough?” Tony’s response
amused Nicole.

The three of them entered a room and Nicole locked the room which caused Tony to scream, “What do
you want with me? I’m straight and loyal! Don’t you touch me!”

“Piss off!” Davon kicked him and continued, “I see that you will do a much better job if you are an actor
instead of a driver.”

“Oh? Bro, you think so too?” Tony began chuckled.

Nicole was speechless and sat down as she drank some water.



Davon itched to give Tony a good beating and then scoffed, “How are you even worthy of marrying my
cousin? I think you should be single for life!”

“No, no, no, bro, don’t be like that. We’re pals, aren’t we? Wouldn’t you be lonely all these years had I
not been your pal?” Tony said cheekily.

It appeared that Tony really liked Sienna except that they did not know what Sienna thought of Tony.

Davon smiled when he noticed that his threats worked, “I can help you but you will need to do
something for me first.”

“Sure, I will agree as long as I can do it.” Tony quickly agreed.

Davon was pleased and said, “I need a batch of medicine to deter some outsiders.”

“What do you mean by outsiders?” Tony knew that something was fishy, but he was willing to do it for
Sienna. Sienna held Devon in high regard and now there was a Kim Sawyer. The Sawyers respected
and trusted Davon so how could he not do as Davon said?

Davon revealed his plans to Tony and Tony was at the brink of tears, “Bro, how could you expect me to
make so much medicine this quickly all on my own?”

“Stop with the excuses. Even the servants of the Thompson family have medical licenses. Who are you
trying to fool by telling me that you can’t do this? If you manage to do this, I’ll have Kim bring you and
Sienna together. If not, I will convince Sienna to marry some minister’s son or grandson. I’m sure
Sienna will listen to me. After all, it was her duty as a princess.” Davon threatened.

Tony braced up immediately, “Bro, you are my dearest pal. I’ll do it. Just remember that Sienna’s mine!”

“Okay.” Davon nodded.



Tony left grudgingly.

Nicole was amused by the scene and chuckled, “Brother, does Phoenix know that you’re so devious?”

“Of course she knows. That’s what she likes about me.” Davon grinned shamelessly.

Nicole’s heart sank at the display of affection, was he rubbing it in because she was alone now?

She wondered if Samuel had arrived at the battlefield and how the situation was. She worried and
missed him but Nicole knew that it was useless for her to worry. They had to do their tasks properly.

Davon knew that Nicole was thinking of Samuel when she started to stare into the distance. He said
when he recalled the whereabouts of Samuel and Tim, “Don’t worry. They’ll be fine. I heard that Mr.
Morty had sent someone to protect them. With Mr. Morty’s protection, they would not be in mortal
danger.”

Nicole was stunned. She did not expect Mr. Morty to be helping them in the background. It looked like
Mr. Morty valued their friendship.

Davon patted Nicole on the shoulders and said, “Go home now. Don’t say anything about this. It may
worry them.”

“I know, but I would like to pay a visit to Laurence. I should explain some things to him clearly.”

“Okay.” Davon agreed.

Davon made the necessary arrangements for Nicole to meet Laurence.

Laurence’s spirit rosed remarkably when he saw Nicole. However, Laurence still did not appear to be
well, which worried Nicole, “What happened to you? Are you feeling unwell? I’ll have my brother
examine you.”



“No need.” Laurence shook his head.

He looked at Nicole and said, “I’m fine, don’t worry. I’m just feeling awful inside.”

“Because of Cara?” Nicole asked. She was well aware of how much pain a person could suffer
because of love. Although she did not want to mention this, if Cara was really involved in the matter
with the Tomb Bride, then inevitably one day the truth would come out.

It was a matter of time that Laurence knew and so she felt that she should tell him now.

The most heartbreaking situation in life was when the person you love decided to join with the enemy
to hurt you. The feeling of not wanting to face it and yet having no choice but to deal with it. That was
what Laurence was feeling now.

Nicole wanted to console Laurence, but his cellphone began to ring.

Laurence looked at his phone and immediately his expression changed and his face turned pale.
Nicole noticed immediately at this turn of events.
