Chapter 1398 The Mission

"Ha-ha! I'm unstoppable!" Wraith King Sebastian laughed wildly. Not long after, his eyes fell on Rocky,
who was about to merge with Divine King Belial's spiritual soul at that time. Without a doubt, he would
do whatever it took to stop the Divine King Belial from coming back to life.

"You are mine!" Wraith King Sebastian declared while rushing into the ice array. Soon after, a ghost
came out of Alston's body and flew towards Rocky with an invincible momentum.

Meanwhile, Alston's body immediately converted into ash the moment Wraith King Sebastian's soul left
his body. Frankly, he should have perished a long time ago if it weren't for Wraith King Sebastian's
power. And now that the king had abandoned his body, this was his only endgame. In fact, not a single
piece of bone nor a fragment of his soul remained in the world.

At the end of it all, Alston was the one who was stewed in his own juice.

On the other hand, Wraith King Sebastian, who was now a ghost, sped into Rocky's body. Instantly, he
was able to stop the merging of Rocky's flesh body and Divine King Belial's spiritual soul, and at the
same time, tried to occupy Rocky's body.

replaying it inside his body while being at the center of the ice array.

The only difference was that Rocky was a spectator this time around. He witnessed how Wraith King
Sebastian confronted Divine King Belial, who was resurrected with the power of the Divine Spiritual
Source.

"I never thought I'd see you again." Divine King Belial looked at Wraith King Sebastian calmly with a
nonchalant expression spread across his face. While Rocky was able to read Divine King Belial's
memories, he also got Rocky's memories in return. Therefore, he was fully aware of what had
happened without leaving any important detail.



"That was close, Belial. You nearly came back to life completely," Wraith King Sebastian said with an
ominous smile. Divine King Belial was not able to control Rocky's body at that time because his
spiritual soul hadn't completely integrated with Rocky's soul. Therefore, Wraith King Sebastian still had
a great opportunity to seize control of Rocky's body.

"My rebirth is purely the Ice Queen's personal wish," Divine King Belial said aggressively.

"Is that so? Then why did you leave a wisp of your spiritual soul? Do you do that on purpose so that Ice
Queen can have a chance to bring you back to life?" Wraith King Sebastian asked with a ferocious and
cunning look.

"I didn't keep my soul. Perhaps, it was the Holy Lord's doing. I don't know what he wants, and it has
never been a part of my plan," Divine King Belial said as he shook his head in denial.

"It seems that you don't want to be reborn in the first place. In that case, retire this boy's body and give
him to me now!" Wraith King Sebastian sneered.

"Do you even think it's possible?" Divine King Belial mocked and then turned to look at Rocky. "Are you
willing to sacrifice yourself for this world?" he asked fervently.

"Well, I'm dying anyway so what's the use. Even if I'm hesitant, it won't make any difference," Rocky
said with a powerless smile.

"Oh, really? Then use your body to refine me and Wraith King Sebastian with the Divine Spiritual
Source. Then, your soul will also perish. Perhaps, after this, nothing but a soulless body will remain,"
Divine King Belial said easily.

"But how am I going to do that?" Rocky asked seriously.



"The most powerful part about the Divine Spiritual Source is that it can achieve anything according to
its owner's will and determination. In fact, back then, we Star Divine Race used it to save our own
world. However, years after, we discovered that we had a price to pay for using it. Since the day we got
the Divine Spiritual Source, we've been destined to shoulder the fate of two worlds." Divine King Belial
heaved a deep sigh that was full of a mix of emotions.

"So that's the whole reason why you want to get everything back on track. Am I right? Do you want to
free the Star Divine Race from this jinxed fate?" Rocky looked at Divine King Belial and questioned.

"Yes. The Star Divine Race was expected to perish. But of course, we wanted to survive, so we
destroyed the balance of the other world, causing more races to be involved in the mess. Eventually,
the two worlds will surely embrace their ends. With that being said, I believe that I have the task and
responsibility to turn things back the way they were before it's too late," Divine King Belial said with firm
resolution.

"Unfortunately for you, it seems that the spiritual race didn't live up to your expectations. Instead,
they're bringing the entire Wild Spirit Land to its end," Rocky smiled bitterly.

"Maybe it's destined after all. Take a look at it this way: it's similar to how you traveled all the way from
another world just to become the savior of this one. What you've done here must have a reason. All of
this has meaning," Divine King Belial said as if he knew everything that Rocky was thinking of.

"I understand. Okay, then. I'll follow your order." Rocky nodded.

"I'll try to delay Sebastian to buy you some time, but I'm afraid that it won't be long enough. If you want
to say goodbye to your loved ones, you'd better do it now!" Divine King Belial said, signaling for him to
leave right away.

"Thank you!" Rocky said in a grateful tone. Not long after, he came back to reality.



After being damaged by the Dark King Mace, the Ice Queen turned very weak and old. At that moment,
she could not stand up from the ground where she sat dejectedly.

On the other hand, Rocky knew that he didn't have much time left, so he immediately walked up to Ice
Queen and said, "I've just met Divine King Belial."

"B... Belial? Where's he now?" The Ice Queen lifted her head with excitement. She gave her all to put a
smile on her face wrinkled by pain.

"He's inside my body as we speak. He is holding back Wraith King Sebastian. In fact, he's decided to
die together with him," Rocky said straightforwardly.

"What? What are you talking about? No, he can't do that. This is the only chance to bring him back to
life. If this last remnant of his spiritual soul disappears, he can never be reborn." The Ice Queen
grabbed Rocky and shook her head anxiously out of fear.

"He has a message for you. He wants you to let go of your obsession with him. He may have lied to
you, but his love for you is true. However, he has a mission that he has to accomplish by any means. I
am so sorry, but he said that you two will never be together," Rocky explained just as the Divine King
Belial had told him.

"Are you sure he said that?" After hearing those words, the Ice Queen suddenly became calm.

Rocky looked at her and waited for her reply casually.

"Okay, if that's what he wants. Then, take me with you. If Belial can't be reborn, it's meaningless for me
to live in this world. I'm willing to go with him," the Ice Queen said decisively.

But Rocky didn't say anything more. If this was her last wish, then he had no reason to stop her from
doing what she wanted.



At that moment, the Ice Queen used her remaining strength to reverse her restraints on Marcia and
Alyssa. The frost covering Alyssa's body quickly melted, causing her to awaken, followed by Marcia,
who was also set free from the ice that bound her.

As soon as they came back to their senses, they learned that Alston had disappeared, and the Ice
Queen had turned into an old and fragile woman. On the other hand, their eyes fell on Rocky, who was
just standing there, looking at them silently.

Upon seeing him there, they immediately stood up and ran as fast as they could to his side.

"That settles it. I have completed my mission. It's time for me to leave now. I don't have enough time to
say goodbye to everyone, so please tell them for me, will you? Tell Isis to raise Nigel to be a great
man." Rocky tried his best to say everything he wanted to say in a few sentences because he was
running out of time. He had to do everything hastily before his soul disappeared.
