Isabel asked as she looked Rocky up and down with a sullen face. Rocky didn't look like a wizened old-
man as she was expecting. He had an unpredictable aura, but he must be around twenty-five or
twenty-six years old at most. "Indeed."

Rocky nodded with a smirk, which only served to irritate Isabel. "Who the hell are you?" she asked with
a frosty glare.

Her awful expression didn't faze him, and he playfully inclined his head as he introduced himself. "My
name is Basil."

"Basil? I've never heard of you before. Who taught you about those mysterious military arrays?"

Isabel asked directly, curiosity gleaming in her eyes.

"No one. I learned them all by myself,"

Rocky easily replied as if he was talking about teaching himself how to swim or something similarly
mundane.



"You must be lying. There is no way you learned all that by yourself!" exclaimed Isabel. She figured that
Rocky must be lying to her, as the mysterious military arrays needed such divine skills. As far as she
knew, nobody could comprehend them without the guidance of a competent master.

"I am telling the truth. It's up to you whether you want to believe it or not," replied Rocky with an
indifferent shrug. When she heard the steely firmness of his voice, Isabel's beautiful eyes narrowed in
thought.

She stared at Rocky intently for a while, silent and reflective. She could see that Rocky's attainments in
the mysterious military arrays were so deep that they could even be on par with her two senior fellows'.
That was why she wanted to know who Rocky's master was, but Rocky had denied having a master.
How could she believe his words?

"Commander, is there anything else you want to ask me? If not, let's continue this battle!" Rocky said
calmly after a while.

"I advise you to surrender to me now. With your forces, you can't defend the Heavenly Rain Valley,"

Isabel insisted arrogantly.

"Don't you think I should be the one to surrender? We have already broken through your array, and you
have no advantage in the Heavenly Rain Valley. I advise you to retreat as soon as possible, or you will
bear serious consequences!"

Rocky politely rejoined.

"You are an arrogant buffoon! Do you think that's the only mysterious military array I know? I have more
powerful mysterious array skills to use, and I can defeat you all!" declared Isabel without fear.



"Then, let's stop this nonsense and continue our battle," replied Rocky. He appeared as serene as he
could be as if the idea of going against an accomplished commander like Isabel didn't faze him.

"Are you sure you don't want to surrender?" Isabel asked again. She didn't think the human army would
stubbornly resist to the end.

"Of course." Rocky nodded without a doubt in his mind.

"Okay then. Don't blame me if you all die." After saying that, Isabel didn't waste any more time and
called out her next move.

"Deploy the Striking Ghosts Array now!"

The next moment, Isabel's spiritual race army promptly gathered again and formed an array pattern
with Isabel as the center.

As soon as they were finished, dark clouds gathered above the Heavenly Rain Valley. Lightning
flashed, and thunder rumbled ominously. In the next breath, a strange red light shrouded the spiritual
race soldiers and made them look like hideous demonic beasts. "What an evil military array!" gasped
Rocky when he sensed the strange and creepy aura of Isabel's mysterious military array.
