Rocky urged the second he saw through Carla’s mind.

“Ugh! Almost! I almost made it,” Carla sighed with regret.

Beast Spirit Jade,” Rocky remarked bluntly.

“Oh? Why not?” Carla looked at Rocky with her brows pushed together, unsure of what he meant.

“You see, this right here is a demonic spiritual beast. If I remember correctly, the Beast Spirit Jade of
the humans is specially designed for the spiritual beasts. Unless it’s top-grade, it won’t be possible for
you to subdue a demonic spiritual beast like this Purple-flaming Phoenix. You don’t happen to have
that, do you?” Rocky explained, sounding adept.

Hearing his thoughts, Carla figured that what Rocky said was right. She fell silent for a while, realizing
that it was no use subduing the beast in front of them with a Beast Spirit Jade that wasn’t top-grade.

Ethereal Region.

if they managed to catch it, they won’t be able to keep it," Eunice said, fully understanding what it
entailed to encounter a demonic spiritual beast.

“You may be right, but I’d like to try my luck,” Rocky suddenly said. In fact, the only reason why he
didn’t make a move yet was that he was waiting for Eunice. All of these people wanted the Purple-



flaming Phoenix for themselves. Thus, he needed someone that would actually back him up to
completely subdue the transformed spiritual beast.

“You? Are you being serious right now?” Eunice asked as she stared at Rocky cynically.

“Why? Is there a problem?” Rocky replied as if it wasn’t a big deal.

“Of course, there is! This Purple-flaming Phoenix's strength has evolved into the advanced stage of the
Spiritual Infant. Do you know how powerful that is? Even a King Realm spirit warrior with advanced
Spiritual Infant or a King Realm master with an Imperial Soul may not be able to tame it. So, how can
you do it? Quit daydreaming!” Eunice said dismissively.

“It’s too early to say that. Anyway, I’ve already made up my mind. I guess we’ll just see later if luck is on
my side,” Rocky said with a confident smirk.

“Whatever. Just be sure that you don’t die. We still have a task to carry out.” Seeing that Rocky had
really decided to subdue the demonic spiritual beast, Eunice could only remind him not to put his life in
danger.

“Don’t worry. I’m still waiting for the perfect opportunity. After they finish fighting later, the Purple-
flaming Phoenix should be already tired,” Rocky remarked.

“Sunset? Why? What for?” Eunice was even more confused at Rocky’s answer.

“The power of the Purple-flaming Phoenix’s body belongs to the masculine property. It means that this
kind of spiritual beast is very powerful during the daytime. However, once the sun goes down, its power
will begin to weaken.” Rocky actually analyzed this based on his experiences.

“How did you know that? That’s pretty new to me. I’ve never heard of that theory before.” As Eunice
heard that Rocky was so sure, she also realized that it sounded logical.

“Well, it’s no big deal. I’m a natural expert when it comes to spiritual beasts,” Rocky boasted without
hesitation.

“Ha! You can brag about it after proving that what you said is true!” Eunice was actually intrigued by

While it was chasing down the disciples, for some reason, the Purple-flaming Phoenix suddenly
diverted its eyes to Eunice. Then, it accelerated at a low altitude and rushed at her with all its
might.
