Gilbert knew that he couldn't just bestow Rocky the power to be the deputy leader. After all, it would be

immediately stood up and led Rocky to the Fragrance Palace.

Not long after, the two of them arrived at the Fragrance Palace. There, they saw Leticia in the outer
hall. As soon as she saw them, she immediately stood up to greet them. At the same time, her gaze
instantly fell on Rocky.

her voice.

In fact, Valeria was at the inner hall. When she heard that Gilbert had come together with Rocky, she

taking a few sips, he leaned against the chair and closed his eyes to rest for a while.

As she entered inside, Leticia saw that Valeria was looking at her with a huge grin on her face. "You did
that for me, right?" Valeria asked excitedly.

"Yes, of course. He was the one who acted arrogantly in the first place. So, it is just reasonable if we
also make him wait," Leticia replied with a cunning smile.

"But is this a good idea? We are still their guests!" Valeria said with a worried expression.

"I believe Gilbert knows that you are here, but he did not say anything earlier. It just means that it is fine
to do this. Besides, he must have thought that their Godly Genius should also be taught some
manners," Leticia concluded.

"Well, what about him?" Valeria asked, referring to Rocky.

"I think he knows too. Otherwise, he won't be too eager to wait for you. He should have already known
that we are making things a bit difficult for him. Well, it is his fault in the first place, so he should not



have any complaints," Leticia said with a cold snort.

"Hmm. If I don't go out, will he wait there forever?" Valeria asked with a naughty smirk.

"Well, he stood me up! I also want to do the same to him." Valeria was a person who believed that

"It's up to you. Do whatever you like. But I don't think that he will leave just yet. You decide if you're
going to see him or not. In the meantime, I need to go out. I'll be back a little later," Leticia said vaguely
and went on her way.

After Leticia left, Valeria hesitated for a moment on what she should do. Then, she finally went to the
door and stuck her head out. This was supposed to be her first time seeing the Godly Genius of the
Ghost Fief, so she was curious to see what he looked like. However, from where she stood, she could
just barely see Rocky's face. Hence, she tried her hardest to stretch her neck out.

At this moment, Rocky seemed to be sitting still on the chair with his eyes closed. It looked like he was
resting, but the truth was he could hear everything that was happening in the inner hall.

"Godly Genius Valeria, if you really want to know what I look like, why don't you just come out here? If
you continue being furtive on your movements, people might think that you have a hidden crush on
me," Rocky abruptly said in a teasing tone.

Hearing this, Valeria suddenly panicked that she almost lost her balance. She could not help but burst
out, "How dare you accuse me of having a crush on you? You should be ashamed of yourself!"



"Oh, so you really are here. I thought the elder said that you were out…" Rocky replied as he let out a
sly smile.

Valeria was rendered speechless when she heard this. Her eyes widened and she quickly pursed her
lips out of embarrassment.

"Since I already know that you are here, why don't you just come out and meet me properly?" Rocky
urged.

"Humph! No! I don't want to see you!" Valeria strongly refused.

"Okay then. I'll leave now. Let's just be clear that it's what you wanted. Don't tell anyone that I didn't
want to see you." This was exactly what Rocky wanted. He actually manipulated her to get her angry.
With this, he could just leave already.

However, Valeria panicked when she heard that Rocky was about to leave. After all, she knew that she
was in the wrong. Hence, without really thinking about it, she suddenly rushed out of the hall to stop
Rocky from leaving.

On the other hand, Rocky already expected that she would go out, so he suddenly turned around to
surprise her. Unfortunately, she rushed too fast. Hence, as Rocky turned around, Valeria was not able
to stop right away, making her face bump onto Rocky's chest.

"Ouch!" At this moment, Valeria felt that her nose was almost flattened. Realizing that Rocky did it on
purpose, she suddenly raised her head and tried to get even with Rocky by reasoning with him.

However, Rocky was surprised as well and wanted to check if she was hurt, so he quickly lowered his
head. Unexpectedly, their lips touched. It was just only for a moment, but both of them were instantly
