"Then let's hear it. What does he want? Is he going to make me quit the competition for the throne?"
Zain asked, staring coldly at Vivian.

"You are mistaken, Your Royal Highness. Odin doesn't want you out of the competition. Instead, he
actually wants you to be the one who claims the throne," Vivian directly revealed while shaking her
head.

"What? No way!" The prince was so shocked, but he was absolutely sure that Vivian was lying.

"Why would I lie to you? Just listen to what I have to say. The only reason why Odin supported
Princess Layla is because of my brother. He is the Godly Genius of the Ghost Fief, so he should
naturally extend his help to the candidate that the leader chooses. But in reality, he knows that you are
the only one capable enough to inherit the throne. Moreover, even the king wants you to be the
successor. Think about it. Princess Layla has already handed Phillip's soul power to him, but he still
delayed his decision. If you were the one who accomplished the task back in the Ghostly Demon Land,
I am sure that the king already declared you as the next ruler," Vivian said in a very convincing tone.

work? Gilbert is your brother. Is it really okay for you to collude with Odin and betray him?" Although

"He wants to take my brother's position and become the leader of the Ghost Fief. If you can help him
with this, then he guarantees that you will also have the support of the Flower Fief. When that happens,
five out of the nine major fiefs will back you up on your claim for the throne." Vivian then threw out the
bait to lure Zain in.

"That is too convenient. Why should I believe you?" Zain could not help but have some scruples since

Vivian replied in a bit of a pessimistic tone.

"Don't worry. Even he knows that I am his only hope. Believe me. He will come to me sooner than you
expect," Rocky sneered, knowing that his plan would surely work.



"I really don't know where your confidence is coming from. But of course, let's hope that you are right,"
Vivian replied with a shrug.

"By the way, do you happen to know a place within the Shura Race's territory that is suitable for
cultivating souls?" Rocky asked out of nowhere.

"You really have time to do that now?" Vivian glanced at him in disbelief.

"Yes. I am not busy right now. I still have a few days before things get a bit hectic again," Rocky replied
indifferently.

"Fine. I do know a good place, but I have to warn you that it is very dangerous. Are you sure that you
want to go there?" Vivian was a bit hesitant because she thought that it might not be the best place for
Rocky.

"Wait. Are you worried about me?" Rocky smiled mischievously.

"Can you be more serious? This place is nothing to joke about." Vivian let him have an earful.

"Okay, sorry. Where is it?"

"The place is called the Fallen Spirit Valley. It is where I got the deity's spirit back then. Countless years
ago, many of the souls of the fallen deities and devils drifted to that area. That is why it has been
famous as a place where you can cultivate your soul. However, as time passed, it has become home to
powerful diabolic beasts. Some of them have even lived there for more than a hundred years. Since

thought that Rocky was really fond of risking his own life.

"Don't worry. It's not something that I can't handle."

"Are you going by yourself?"

"Yes, I am. It was just actually a spur-of-the-moment decision."

"Then, why don't I accompany you?" It seemed that Valeria was so concerned that she wanted to
ensure Rocky's safety.

"Thank you, but I think it would be better if you stay here and assist Leader Gilbert. We don't know
what may suddenly happen. Moreover, the Flower Fief might also need you," Rocky persuaded.



"Yes, you're right. Anyway, be careful!" Valeria knew that Rocky was just being reasonable, so she had

Immediately after, Rocky left the mansion and headed for the Fallen Spirit Valley. Apparently, the Fallen

to himself as he entered the valley with Rubygon.

On the surface, the Fallen Spirit Valley was not much different from ordinary valleys. It was filled with
dense plants and beautiful sceneries.

But of course, this seemingly peaceful and lush valley was full of imminent dangers.

In fact, the moment Rocky and Rubygon started walking in the valley, they were instantly targeted by a
powerful diabolic beast.

The beast's strength was at the medium stage of the Shura Realm, and its size was way bigger than
Rubygon.

that Zain wanted to see him.

with you, can you assure me that you can heal my injuries?" Zain cut straight to the point.

"Well, if I can't even do that, I will be a huge disappointment to my master," Rocky said in an indifferent
tone.

"Fine. How long will it take to completely cure my condition?" the prince asked with furrowed brows.

"Give me three days."

"What? Three days? Are you insane?!" Zain was in total disbelief, thinking that Rocky was fooling him.
After all, he had tried every means possible just so he could recover, but none of them worked.
However, Rocky was claiming without any hesitation that he could heal his injuries in just three days.
Of course, the prince had a hard time believing this.
