Chapter 1865 The Strongest Sword

Knowing his life was on the line, Rocky didn't dare to hold back his strength anymore and took out his
God-killing Sword.

Even though they were on the same side, the contempt smug on Zain's face was immediately replaced
with shock and his mouth hung wide open when he felt the astonishing power of Rocky's God-killing
Sword. The area was instantly enveloped with its insidious aura, causing even the most powerful
warriors of the Shura Race to tremble in fear. The area originally enveloped by the demoness's
Spiritual Domain became unstable under the presence of the new aura.

The demoness's eyes widened in shock while a cold sweat dripped down her forehead.

"I need some time to gather my strength!" Rocky said to Layla and the others. In order to use the God-
killing Sword's full strength, he must fuel it with his own spiritual power.

"Okay! We'll buy you some time!" Layla nodded to him as she ordered her warriors to charge.

Without hesitation, Anya, Zain, Layla, and three premium-stage Shura Realm masters along with
Rubygon, all rushed towards the demoness.

"You are biting off more than you can chew! Fine! If you want to die so bad, I'll help you!" The sight of
the others joining hands with Rocky struck the demoness's nerves. Her blood boiled in anger as she let
out a defiant scream before turning into black fog and rushing into the group of warriors.

"Mysterious Star Barrier!" With a wave of Layla's hand, a spiritual ball appeared out of thin air and
floated in front of her. Spectacular beams of light shot out from it, intertwining with each other as it
soared high above the clouds before forming a vast net of stars.

As soon as the demoness approached, Rocky, Anya, Layla, and the other warriors suddenly
disappeared from her sight.



This was the ability of the Mysterious Star Barrier. Layla and her allies could clearly see their opponent,
but the demoness could not see them.

"Humph! Such an insignificant skill! You think you can fool me with this?" As soon as the words left her
mouth, the demoness waved her hand and released a wave of black light directly at the barrier. She
was much more powerful than Rocky and the others had imagined.

The Mysterious Star Barrier shattered like thin glass after only a couple of impacts, making the
demoness see the warriors again.

The brute force of the attack left Layla moaning in pain as she spat out blood.

The demoness let out a contempt smug when she saw this, but little did she know that the barrier also
hid the power of Zain's Demonic Dragon Blade. As soon as the Mysterious Star Barrier went down, the
blade shot out of his hand and soared high into the sky before turning into a dragon shadow and
crashing down into the demoness.

Boom!

The whole ground around her was lifted up as high as the clouds due to the force of the impact.

"No wonder it's the top treasure of the Shura Race. What an amazing power," Layla murmured as she
couldn't help but be in awe. This was the first time she had seen the power of the Demonic Dragon
Blade first hand.

"Humph! There's no way she'd survive a direct hit from my Demonic Dragon Blade!" Zain said, thinking
that he had already won.

"Don't think the fight's over! I'm afraid that even such a powerful attack won't hurt her at all!" Anya said
as she threw cold water on him.



"How is that possible?" Zain simply thought that this was outrageous.

As the dust settled and the impact light of the demonic dragon shadow dissipated, they saw the
silhouette of the demoness standing at the center with barely a scratch on her. Her body was covered
in thick, black fog that seemed to have protected her.

Zain's face turned as white as chalk. Never did he fight someone powerful enough to resist a direct hit
from his Demonic Dragon Blade.

"I told you all, you're biting off more than you can chew! I would have shown mercy at the start, but
since you've already angered me, I'll kill you right here and now!" The demoness's eyes grew red with
fury and contempt. In an instant, more violent evil spirit rushed out of her body and spread around,
making her Spiritual Domain even stronger.

Many of the strong warriors of the Shura Race immediately succumbed to the pressure of her spiritual
power. Some died on the spot while others spat out mouthfuls of blood.

"She is too powerful!" Layla's face turned pale as her body froze with fear. She seemed to have lost all
hope.

Even Zain felt the same. All he could think of at the moment was how he was going to die.

Anya's face turned deadly serious when she saw her opponent's power increase again. Although she
knew that she wouldn't be able to defeat her, she had no other choice but to buy Rocky some time. The
God-killing Sword was their last hope of stopping her.

The demoness must have sensed what she was thinking and shifted her attention towards Rocky. "I'm
going to take care of him first. If anyone wants to stop me, then come meet your maker." She then
raised her hand and pointed towards Rocky, who was still gathering his spiritual power.



"In your dreams! I won't let you hurt him!" Anya shouted. In an instant, a powerful spiritual skill surged
from her, turning into a swarm of fist shadows that instantly enveloped the demoness.

Anya knew she was unable to hurt the demoness, but she knew it was more than enough to buy time.

Even Rubygon didn't dare to just stand by and watch. It let out a defiant roar as it beamed out a violent
and evil light from its mouth. Its attack combined with Anya's spiritual skill before hitting the demoness.

The combined attack left a massive crater, sinking a thousand meters of land.

Zain and Layla were left in shock. Even though they didn't know where the two came from, it was
obvious that Rubygon and Anya were giving it their all for Rocky.

'Where did he find such a powerful helper and a diabolic beast?' Even Enoch who was watching from
afar was in awe.

But even with all their might poured into that one attack, it was nothing but a slight breeze for their
opponent.

All of a sudden, a black wind rolled up from the ground and spread like a tornado, countering both
Anya's and Rubygon's attacks as if they were nothing.

While the others were preoccupied with the violent wind, the demoness melted into the black fog and
reached Rocky in an instant.

Seeing this, Anya and Rubygon tried to stop her.

But two avatars suddenly came to life from the black fog and blocked them from even coming close to
the demoness. Although the avatars were not that strong, it was enough to stall them for quite some
time.



They could only watch as the demoness approached Rocky with a contempt smile etched on her face.
