pierced her hands and feet. A sharp cry of pain escaped her gritted mouth.

On the other hand, Rocky narrowly escaped the same fate with the help of his divine body. He forced
himself to come to Vivian's aid, gathering her in his arms as she bled profusely.

her. After sustaining grave injuries, she soon passed out.



Rocky cradled Vivian. They were at a great disadvantage right now, as the shadow seemed

Rocky's eyes narrowed, and his hands clenched tightly on his God-killing Sword. He had no other
choice but to fight.

At this moment, a beast shadow suddenly appeared out of nowhere, while countless spiritual chains
simultaneously shot out and bound the purple shadow.



This beast was the Ice Phoenix. On its back, Alex grinned at Rocky with a relieved expression.

"How lucky! It looks like I arrived just in time," she exclaimed happily.

Seeing this, Rocky sped towards her and jumped onto the Ice Phoenix's back with Vivian still out cold
in his arms.

"Come on, I'll get you out of here!" urged Alex with great alarm.

"No, we can't let this devil spirit leave this palace. We have to seal it! At the very least, we have to trap
it inside the palace!" Rocky knew that the devil spirit was a disaster waiting to happen. If it left the
crystal palace, the whole Supreme Ether Land would plunge into darkness and chaos.

"But..." Alex started to protest, but Rocky didn't let her speak.

"Alex, listen to me. The moment you step outside of this palace, seal it with the power of the Ice Wand,"
he instructed.

"What about you?!" Alex was shocked to hear his plan.

"Leave that to me. I'll figure that part out later," replied Rocky with a frown. "Just get her out of here as
soon as you can."

Sensing that Rocky had made up his mind, Alex couldn't protest anymore. She figured that Rocky
knew what he was doing, so she put her trust in him and quickly left, taking Vivian with her.

At this point, the devil spirit had broken through the shackles of the spiritual chains. It instantly rushed
after Rocky and the others.

"Run!" Now that Rocky was free of all distractions, he could fight the devil spirit with all his might. He
brandished his God-killing Sword confidently and got off the Ice Phoenix's back and went straight



towards the devil spirit.

Alex and Vivian immediately disappeared with the power of Ice Phoenix.

Seeing that Vivian was once again out of its grasp, the devil spirit seethed with rage. It unleashed its
power like a snowstorm, which filled out the entire palace

The next moment, everything in the palace had turned into a black crystal. Rocky, who was rushing to
the devil spirit, was suddenly encircled by black crystal. Unable to resist the power, Rocky immediately
fell down from midair.

Black crystals engulfed his whole body until no sliver of skin could be seen. It then turned him into a
black crystal statue.

Soon, the whole palace fell into a deep and tense silence.

"You are just a nobody. You shouldn't have bitten off more than you can chew! Now, I'll send you to
hell!" the devil spirit responded with a sharp smile. It must have thought Rocky was no threat, so it
simply waved its hand, and a devil light shot out. It intended to escape from here and find another
powerful spirit manipulator it could possess.

Just as the black light was about to hit Rocky, who had turned into a crystal statue, the God-killing
Sword in Rocky's hand suddenly burst out an astonishing divine power, enveloping the surroundings.

Until finally, the soul shadow flew out of the sword and quickly integrated into Rocky's body. The black
