Chapter 1748 Provoke The Hall Leader

"Humph! I don't fight with losers like him. He is just a waste of my time!" Hall Leader Chen arrogantly
said with a disdainful look on his face.

"Stop acting so pretentious, Hall Leader Chen," Rocky bit back.

The crowd burst into a fit of laughter and amazement. No one expected Rocky would be so cunning.

"Brat, are you courting death?" the hall leader said with his fists clenched, ready to make a move at any
moment.

Seeing his intention, Eunice and Carla immediately stood in front of Rocky.

Eunice knew well enough that Rocky's real identity might be exposed if he fought with Hall Leader
Chen. On the other hand, although Carla just met him, she wouldn't let the hall leader bully her friend
like that.

The crowd let out a gasp of surprise when the two stood in front to protect Rocky. They wondered what
kind of charm he had to make the two beautiful women stand up for him.

The moment Hall Leader Chen saw this, jealousy boiled inside his heart, which made him even more
furious.

Although he wanted to attack, he was afraid of Eunice and Carla since they were both notable figures.
Instead, he tried to provoke Rocky by shouting at him, "Brat, don't hide behind women!"

"I'm not hiding! They're the ones standing in front of me. If you're strong enough, then force them out!
I'll just stand here in the meantime," Rocky responded angrily.

Hall Leader Chen was speechless.



The crowd once again burst into laughter. Embarrassment started to creep up on the hall leader. He
wanted to put Rocky in his place, but he was also afraid of offending the ladies of the Di Clan and the
Yu Clan.

"Humph! Just you wait, I'll deal with you after the Spiritual Emperor Contest!" Seeing no other way
around the situation, Hall Leader Chen could do nothing but taunt his opponent once more before
leaving.

Eunice and Carla breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him leave. They weren't sure if the two of
them could hold him off since the hall leader was a middle-level Spiritual Emperor.

"Can you behave yourself and try not make any trouble?" Eunice immediately turned around to scold
Rocky with a reproachful look.

"I provoked Hall Leader Chen just to save you! Why do you say that it's all my fault?" Rocky pretended
to be displeased.

"Then that's my problem to solve, not yours!" Eunice continued to deny the matter.

Rocky gave her a teasing smile.

Meanwhile, Carla couldn't help but laugh at the two.

Noticing that the scene came to an abrupt end, the crowd continued to watch the tests in the Imperial
Soul Testing Array. Out of the blue, the crowd on one side suddenly erupted into an uproar, causing
many to come over and see what was happening.

"Who is this beautiful woman? I've never seen someone so pretty and attractive!"

"She is Michelle, the last disciple of the owner of the Flying Feather Pavilion. Many say that she will
also be the next leader."



"What? Is she really Michelle? I heard that her skills are on par with that of Lilith of the Sky-suppressing
Mansion. Some even say that she's very likely to surpass her..."

"Yes, that's her! Another talented woman who showed extraordinary talents six months ago!"

"She even managed to rank first in the first round of the test among the low-level Spiritual Emperors..."

"No doubt about that. Since she can compete with the likes of Lilith, she must be an extraordinary
warrior."

"It's a pity that Lilith is still cultivating in seclusion and won't participate in the Spiritual Emperor Contest.
I would give anything just to watch those two women fight! It will surely be a memorable battle."

Hearing the commotion, Rocky and the two women couldn't help but take a look for themselves. They
saw a beautiful and slim woman wearing a magnificent purple robe that made her stand out even more.
Her presence easily overshadowed those around her. Two beautiful female Spiritual Emperors followed
closely behind her.

The woman was none other than Michelle.

Rocky caught himself staring at her. He could easily consider Michelle as the most beautiful woman he
had ever seen in the Ethereal Region.

At the moment, Michelle took no notice of Rocky. Instead, she signed up along with the two female
Spiritual Emperors behind her to take part in the test of the Imperial Soul Testing Array.

"So she is Michelle." When Rocky first learned that she ranked first in the first round, he suspected her
to be a Godly Genius in disguise. But seeing her now, he couldn't see any signs that she was hiding
her true identity.



Holden suddenly appeared out of the thick crowd and made his way to Michelle. He whispered a few
words to her ear and pointed at Rocky.

She immediately looked at the direction he was pointing at and saw Rocky.

Without hesitation, she made her way to him, which caused another uproar.

"I heard from Holden that you're the Spiritual Emperor who broke the testing stone that weights one
thousand and five hundred pounds in the first round of the strength test!" Michelle directly said.

"I'm just lucky," Rocky said modestly with a smile.

Everyone present shot Rocky an envious look. Michelle had always been very conceited and treated
men as if they were nothing. So seeing her take the initiative to talk to a man surprised many who were
watching.

Most men could only dream of being surrounded by three stunning women from the Ethereal Region,
and Rocky was acting like it was nothing!

"I heard you speak ill of me behind my back..." Michelle suddenly brought out of the blue.

"Did I?" Rocky immediately glanced over to Holden and saw him with a sinister smile on his face.

"By now you should know exactly who I am. If I hear any more rumors, I'll make sure that you'll
disappear from the face of the earth," she threatened.

"Thank you for you warning." Rocky smiled calmly.

"Don't be so arrogant. Killing the Spiritual Emperor of the Di Clan won't be such an easy task as you
make it out to be," Eunice chimed in.



"You must be Eunice, right? You're just an illegitimate daughter with no status in the Di Clan. Don't put
on airs here." Michelle glanced at Eunice with disdain.

"You..." Eunice's face grew red in anger and embarrassment. Michelle's unkind words hit a sore point in
her.

Seeing the two girls in front of him fight, Rocky couldn't help but burst into laughter.

The three women looked at him as if he was mad, confused why he would suddenly laugh.

"What are you laughing at?" Michelle couldn't imagine why he would laugh at such a serious situation.
